More than 25 years ago, Advocating For Change, Inc. created the concept of distributing book bags filled with school supplies to families in the Village of Spring Valley and throughout Rockland County.

Today, many individuals and organizations have embraced and continued this tradition—and that is something worth celebrating! There is power in knowing that Advocating For Change, Inc. helped lay the foundation for what has become an annual countywide movement.

Now, Advocating For Change, Inc. has opened a new chapter through Full Court Healing™: “Lil Nate’s Legacy Initiative.” This work is rooted in one truth that has guided my journey from the beginning: My community is my classroom.

Congratulations to the thousands of people who continue this important work and help ensure that our children begin each school year prepared to succeed. The vision started with us, but its impact now belongs to the entire community.

The work continues.
