✨ Yesterday's Coffee & Commerce was one for the books.

We were honored to welcome Douglas Androsky, Founder and President of Fathering the Fatherless Built to Father , and Maury County Mayor Sheila Butt for the signing of a historic proclamation officially establishing Fathering the Fatherless Day in Maury County, to be observed annually on the Saturday before Father's Day.

Following extensive research and verification of national records, this appears to be one of the first county-level proclamations of its kind in the United States.

Fathering the Fatherless is a Tennessee-based nonprofit dedicated to restoring fatherly influence to fatherless children through mentorship, community events, and equipping men with practical tools for authentic fatherhood.

The need is significant.

📊 One in four American children grows up without a father.
📊 In Tennessee, that number rises to 37%—nearly double the national average.

Through their work, Fathering the Fatherless is helping change those statistics one relationship, one family, and one community at a time.

Douglas also recently launched the Built to Father™ Trilogy, a series of books designed to help men become the fathers their families need through the SHEPHERD Framework™—eight pillars of fatherhood focused on intentional leadership, character, and impact.

Beyond this special proclamation, the morning was filled with everything that makes Coffee & Commerce such a valuable Chamber event: new connections, meaningful conversations, community collaboration, and local leaders investing in one another.

A special thank you to:
☕ Big Bad Breakfast for providing coffee and breakfast
🤝 Williamson Health | Bone & Joint Institute of Tennessee, our Ambassador Program Sponsor
💙 Fathering the Fatherless for hosting this month's Coffee & Commerce and sharing your important mission with our community

👕 It's Wear It Wednesday, and today we're proudly repping 431 Ministries 💗

431 Ministries is a local nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside women coming out of crisis, with a special focus on the unique burdens carried by single mothers.

Their mission goes far beyond meeting immediate needs. They work to build a supportive community that surrounds women with care—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—so they can move forward with hope, confidence, and a strong support system.

At a time when so many are facing challenges alone, 431 Ministries is creating a place where women are seen, supported, and empowered.

We are grateful for the impact they are making throughout our community and honored to spotlight their important work today.

💡 Collaboration. Learning. Impact.

Last week, we had a fantastic turnout for our Nonprofit Focus Group, bringing together leaders and changemakers from organizations across our community to learn, connect, and grow together.

A special thank you to Paul Goldsmith, Chief People Officer at The Well Outreach, for sharing an insightful presentation on fundraising strategies and helping attendees think differently about building relationships, engaging supporters, and sustaining their missions for the long term.

We're incredibly grateful to The Well Outreach for sponsoring this group and helping create a space where nonprofit leaders can come together to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the impact they make throughout our community.

One of the best parts of these gatherings is seeing so many incredible nonprofits represented in one room. When nonprofits collaborate, communities thrive. ❤️

🎓 Congratulations to the CLIMB Emerging Leaders Cohort Class of 2025-2026! 🎉

Today, we celebrated the graduation of an outstanding group of emerging leaders who have spent the past year investing in their personal and professional growth through the Spring Hill Chamber's CLIMB program, presented by Vanderbilt Health!

A special congratulations to our graduates:
⭐ Brady Cannon, Vanderbilt Health
⭐ Kellen Holliman, Honest-1 Auto Care
⭐ Austin Dillehay, Preventia
⭐ Linda Rojas, United Community Bank
⭐ Don Diehl

Throughout the program, participants learn leadership principles, communication strategies, emotional intelligence, relationship-building skills, and practical tools designed to help them lead with greater purpose and influence. At graduation, each participant has the opportunity to take those lessons and teach them to others.

Because leadership isn't just about growing yourself—it's about multiplying your impact.

This year's graduates embraced the concept of becoming a 100x Leader: someone who intentionally develops others, shares knowledge, and helps those around them grow. The result is stronger teams, stronger organizations, and a stronger community.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible CLIMB coaches, Dustin Fenton of Piton Coaching and Mark Derber of Kaizen Leadership Solutions, for investing their time, expertise, and encouragement into this class. Your leadership and mentorship help transform emerging leaders into confident professionals who are ready to make a lasting impact in their organizations and our community.

Thank you to our program sponsor, Vanderbilt Health, for investing in the next generation of leaders and helping make this transformational program possible.

Please join us in congratulating this incredible class! 👏

Interested in joining the next CLIMB cohort or have an emerging leader on your team who would benefit from the experience?

Nobody teaches you how to lead.

One day you're the reliable employee. The next day people are looking to you for guidance.

That's exactly why we created CLIMB.

Not to give you another binder that collects dust or a motivational speech you'll forget by Monday.

But to help you become the kind of leader worth following.

Applications are now open. Only 25 seats available.

Let's CLIMB together. 🪜🗻
