This night is about more than an event.

It’s about coming together as a community to celebrate what God has already done—and believing for what comes next.

We’re getting closer to seeing the Freedom Center become a reality, and we’d love to have you in the room for this part of the story.

🎟️ Grab your tickets and join us October 14th.

Tickets available at helpingcaptives.org

When our community is hurting, we want to be there.

After the fires devastated families across our region—including members of our own team—we wanted to find a way to give back to the people who have supported Helping Captives for so long.

So today, all profits from Helping Captives Thrift Store are being donated to help families affected by the fires, in partnership with Shine 104.9.

Come shop, grab some great finds, and help us give back to our community.

We’re grateful for everyone who continues to support Helping Captives—and today, we get to turn that support around and pour it back into people who need it.

Excited to be heading to Houston for Illuminate 2026 with .io. Zachry Godfrey

I’m looking forward to being in the room with business leaders, creators, nonprofit leaders, investors, and people who genuinely want to use what they’ve been given to make an impact in their communities.

I’ll be speaking during the event and sharing more about what it looks like to build something that matters, serve people well, and use business and influence for a bigger purpose.

If you’re going to be in Houston August 26–28, come join us.

One of my favorite things about this stage is the way my daughter talks. ❤️

She doesn’t say “he.” She says “him.”
She doesn’t say “they” or “their.” She says “them.”

So instead of, “When he gets home...” it’s, “When him gets home...”

Or instead of, “When they’re done eating...” it’s, “When them get done eating...”

I know she’ll grow out of it, and one day she’ll say it all correctly. But these are the little things I never want to forget.

Life moves fast. Sometimes the moments you’ll miss the most are the ones you don’t realize you’re living right now.

Over the last few days, we’ve watched our community go through something none of us ever wanted to see. Hundreds of families have lost their homes. Firefighters, first responders, and volunteers have been giving everything they have to protect lives and property.

Tonight I read an article by 4 News Now - KXLY, and if these allegations are true, it’s heartbreaking to think that one person’s actions could have contributed to so much pain.

I encourage you to read the article for yourself. I’ve shared it in my Story.

Please keep praying for every family that has lost so much, for the firefighters still on the front lines, and that justice is done.

I was told yesterday that they arrested another man trying to start a fire in the valley as well.

Evil can destroy in moments. Rebuilding takes years. Let’s stand together and take care of one another. 🙏
