🎥 Here’s the moment I found out I was going to be a dad.

My wife got me GOOD. 😂

She handed me three boxes.

The first had a pair of Jordans.

The second had a tiny pair of baby shoes.

The third had positive pregnancy tests.

I had absolutely no idea what was coming. She made up some fake reason why there were three boxes in front of me, told me she was recording for a friend, I was tired from working outside and your boy has the ADHD so she played me well…

As the reality set in, I realized I had just nine months to completely rebuild our first house after taking it down to the studs before Hezekiah arrived.

Somewhere in this video I also talk about writing a book. Eight years later, I’m finally putting the finishing touches on it.

It’s crazy looking back now.

The house got rebuilt.

The book got written.

That baby is now seven years old.

And becoming a dad turned out to be one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me.

I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

P.S. This video contains dreadlocks, excessive excitement, and approximately 47 “Oh my Gods.” I’ve already repented. 😂 To be fair, I had just discovered I was becoming a father. At that moment it was less profanity and more an emergency prayer meeting.

One of the most important things in life is having people around you that you respect, admire, and are willing to learn from.

People who will challenge you when you’re thinking too small, push you when you’re getting comfortable, and celebrate with you when you hit meaningful milestones.

Recently, I had the opportunity to stop by Valuetainment and share a special moment with Patrick Bet-David. I showed him the deed to the former strip club we purchased and the plans for what it will become: The Freedom Center.

Pat didn’t need to give me his time. He’s busy leading companies, creating content, and impacting millions of people. But he took the time to celebrate this milestone with me, and that meant a lot.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that success isn’t just about what you accomplish. It’s also about who you surround yourself with. The right people don’t just help you win. They help you become the kind of person worth following.

Grateful for mentors, friends, and leaders who challenge me to think bigger, lead better, and stay focused on the mission.

The Freedom Center is one step closer to becoming a reality.

Most leaders only see half the map.
Every community has mountains — religion, business, government, family, education, media, arts. The places where influence is built.
Every community has valleys — poverty, addiction, crime, abandonment, hunger, homelessness, slavery. The places where people are forgotten.
The mountains shape what a community becomes.
The valleys reveal what it’s missing.
Faithful leaders are called to both.
Climb where you’ve been given influence.
Descend where you see brokenness.

The world promises everything and leaves you empty every time.

There’s a reason so many people try it all — the parties, the lifestyle, the “freedom” — and still end up feeling like something’s missing. That void doesn’t go away. It just gets louder.

You can’t out-experience your way to fulfillment. Some things only Christ can fill.

Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world — and they’ve figured out where attention actually lives in 2026: TikTok.

Lives. Comment sections. Algorithm-friendly content pushed hard into the exact spaces a lot of Christian media is quietly getting suppressed in.

That’s not a complaint. It’s a wake-up call.

The mission field moved. The real question is whether the Church is willing to follow it onto the platforms shaping the next generation’s worldview — or keep ceding ground because the format feels uncomfortable.
