The cabins are prepped, the canoes are patiently waiting, and our camp staff are buzzing with excitement to welcome our sweet alumni back to Camp Sweyolakan! 🥹❤️

We can’t wait to see our weekend campers arriving this afternoon and our day-goers joining us Saturday morning. We’ve got some pretty awesome things in store, and we’re ready for a weekend filled with new adventures, lots of laughs, and a little bit of that camp magic everyone talks about. ✨🔥

The final week of summer camp was already something special… but we got an EXTRA special treat at both Camp Sweyolakan and Camp Dart-Lo! 🔥🏕️✨

We were so excited to welcome Shawna Rosenzweig, CEO of Camp Fire National Headquarters, all the way from the other side of the state! ❤️

Shawna has virtually joined us for our Annual Meeting and Board Retreat, so it was such a joy to finally have her here in person, experiencing camp for herself! She had the opportunity to watch programming, jump right into some activities, and, of course, receive the warmest welcome from our campers and staff. 🥹💛

Having her visit during the VERY LAST week of camp made it even more meaningful. Thank you for making the trip, Shawna! We loved having you experience a little piece of Camp Fire Inland Northwest with us. 🔥🌲

So many summer camp experiences were sparked, shaped, and made possible because of YOU, our incredible Camp Fire supporters. ❤️‍🔥

This summer, 104 campers received financial assistance to attend camp and experience the magic of new friendships, big adventures, moments of independence, and memories that can truly change a young life.

And it all starts with a spark. ✨

You can help spark these experiences for future generations by joining us for our Annual Gala & Auction on September 25th at CenterPlace Regional Event Center! Doors open at 5 PM for a lively evening filled with games, incredible silent and live auction items, chances to… let’s just say… WIN BIG, a delicious dinner, Dessert Dash, and so much more!

Most importantly, this is a night with a purpose: creating opportunities for more young people to experience the life-changing magic of camp.

To our incredible Camp Sweyolakan and Camp Fire Inland Northwest community: THANK YOU for an unforgettable summer! ❤️🔥

To our amazing camp staff and volunteers who poured your hearts into every day, our incredible CITs & JR Pals who stepped up as leaders and role models, and every single camper who filled camp with laughter, energy, and endless fun, this summer wouldn’t have been the same without you.

While we’re always a little sad when the last camper heads home, we can’t help but look back and smile at everything this summer held: the memories made, the friendships formed, the laughter that echoed through camp, the new skills learned, the challenges conquered, and all the little moments that made this summer so special. 🏕️✨

And to all of our camp families, thank you for entrusting us with your campers. It means so much that you chose to let us be a part of their summer, and we hope they left camp with full hearts, and stories they’ll be telling for years to come. ❤️
