Today marks 6 months since we accepted our first guest at Herman House. We are so thankful for the support and the 72 guests and families we have had the honor of serving in these 6 months.
We would like to highlight one of our wonderful volunteers at both Herman House and The Journey Home, Debbie!
"After retiring in 2023, I knew I wanted to volunteer someplace but wanted a few months of doing nothing. My mother was at The Journey Home in 2021, and after such a positive experience, I decided that a hospice home is where I needed to volunteer. It is a blessing to be there for people in their final journey, and for their families. Once Herman House opened in January, I also wanted to be involved with the new location. So now, I volunteer at both homes."

Today marks our 3 month anniversary from our first guest at Herman House. During this time we have had the honor to care for 38 guests and their families. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family during this difficult time, we are honored.

We are officially into spring here at Herman House. These precious babies were born yesterday here on the property. We embrace each day here at Herman House and are so thankful for this incredible opportunity to help those at end-of-life. Yesterday was our 70th day to be open and we welcomed our 30th guest also. We are so thankful for those who have donated and help us in so many ways. Here is a current needs list if you would like to help support the families and guests.

Hello Herman House followers.
We are blessed to have cared for 17 guests and their families in the past month of being open. Thank you for your support! We would not be here without you!
We are needing a few items at the house currently. Unfortunately Wal-Mart delivery does not work for our location. You’re welcome to drop it off or order anything from Amazon for delivery.
