🇺🇸 A BEAUTIFUL NEW VIEW AT COUNTRY CORNER FIRE & EMS! 🚒🚑❤️

Sometimes, it’s the little things that mean the most.

For quite some time, Country Corner Fire & EMS has been in need of new flagpoles and flags. Our old ones had served their purpose, but they just weren’t doing justice to the pride we have in our country, our state, and our department.

During one of our community breakfasts, we set out to raise the funds to replace them. And, as always, our community showed up! ❤️

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to some very special people who helped make this possible:

🇺🇸 Sammie Lemon, the grandmother of one of our own, for her incredibly generous donation and continued support of our department.

🇺🇸 Cindy Thompson Cummings of Thompson Ranch, for her generosity and willingness to support Country Corner.

🇺🇸 The Skiatook VFW, for their generous contribution and for helping us proudly display the very flag they have dedicated themselves to honoring.

🇺🇸 And our AMAZING COMMUNITY, who donated during our breakfast fundraiser. Every donation, big or small, helped make this possible!

These new flagpoles and flags are more than just an improvement to our station. They represent pride, service, sacrifice, and community. They are a reminder of the country we love, the people we serve, and the incredible support system standing behind our department.

Now, when the sun rises over Country Corner, our flags can fly proudly, just as they should. 🇺🇸

We couldn’t have done this without you, and we hope you know how much your support means to every one of us.

From all of us, THANK YOU!

❤️🤍💙 WE ARE COUNTRY CORNER FIRE & EMS.

Proud of our country. Proud of our community. Proud to serve. 🇺🇸🚒🚑

🖤🚑 Happy Heavenly Birthday to Country Corner’s Favorite Patient, Gwen. 🖤🎂 Gwen Conant

Some patients come into our lives and leave a lasting impression. Then there are patients like Gwen, who become part of the Country Corner family.

A heart transplant may have given Gwen a second chance at life, but it certainly never slowed down her sense of humor, her stubborn independence, or her ability to keep our EMS crews on their toes! 😂

No matter how she was feeling, Gwen was going to insist on walking to that cot herself! And you better believe she had something funny to say along the way.

Over the years, Gwen watched our EMS providers come and go, learn, grow, and become better at what they do. She knew us, trusted us, and made sure we knew exactly who she wanted showing up when she called for help.

“Don’t you let another EMS service come get me. Send Country Corner!” ❤️

And Gwen, we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

There is something incredibly special about serving a community where your patients become more than just patients. They become familiar faces, friendships, stories, and people you genuinely look forward to seeing — even when you wish it were under better circumstances.

We loved Gwen, and Gwen loved Country Corner. That is something we will always treasure.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Gwen. We miss your humor, your stubbornness, and that big personality of yours. Thank you for trusting us, growing with us, and reminding us why we do what we do.

Rest easy, Gwen. We’ll take it from here. ❤️🚑

We Are Country Corner Fire & EMS. And Gwen will always be part of our story. ❤️

🚒🦃 HEY SPERRY! WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🦃🚒

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and Country Corner Fire & EMS is on a mission to FILL AN ENGINE! 🚒❤️

We are proud to partner with the Sperry Ministerial Alliance to help provide Thanksgiving food baskets to local families who could use a little extra support this holiday season.

🥫 We’re collecting non-perishable food items, and we need our community to help us fill this fire truck!

We know something about the people of Sperry and Country Corner… WHEN OUR COMMUNITY IS CALLED UPON, THEY SHOW UP! ❤️

This isn’t just about collecting food. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, families supporting families, and making sure those in our own community know they haven’t been forgotten.

🚒 Our goal? FILL THAT ENGINE!
❤️ Our reason? OUR COMMUNITY!

Whether it’s one can or an entire bag of groceries, every donation makes a difference.

Let’s show everyone what the Sperry and Country Corner communities can do when we come together!

Help us spread the word by SHARING this post! 📣

You can bring items to the Country Corner Fire Department at 6983 W 113th N Sperry, Ok 74073 or if you see our ambulance at town hall!
