With summer just around the corner, Country Corner Fire & EMS wants everyone to enjoy the lakes, pools, rivers, and outdoor activities safely. Remember to always wear a life jacket when boating, keep a close eye on children around water, swim with a buddy, and never mix alcohol with water activities.

A few simple precautions can prevent a tragedy and help ensure that everyone has a fun day and makes it home safely.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, those of us at Country Corner Fire and EMS pauses to remember, honor, and respect the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a solemn reminder that freedom comes at a cost paid by those who were willing to give everything for others. We are forever grateful to the fallen heroes who answered the call of duty with courage, honor, and selflessness.

As first responders, we understand the meaning of service, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting others. Today, we stand with our community in remembering those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

Please take a moment today to reflect, remember, and honor our nation’s heroes.

🚨 Community Involvement Opportunity 🚨

Country Corner Fire and EMS is looking for a motivated individual who is willing to volunteer their time to help coach and develop a physical fitness program for our department.

Physical fitness plays a critical role in firefighter and EMS readiness, safety, injury prevention, and overall emergency response performance. In addition, maintaining a structured wellness and fitness program helps improve important operational standards, including areas that can positively impact our ISO rating and future growth opportunities.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for health, wellness, or fitness
• Wants to support first responders
• Can help encourage accountability and team development
• Is willing to invest time into helping improve our department and community

This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on the health and preparedness of the men and women who serve our community every day.

We are also asking our community if anyone knows of local businesses, organizations, gyms, or sponsors who may be willing to donate or help provide physical fitness equipment for our department wellness program. Any support, partnership, or sponsorship opportunity would be greatly appreciated as we continue investing in the health and safety of our responders.

Country Corner Fire and EMS is conducting a community survey to better understand the emergency service needs of our growing area. As our community continues to expand, it is important that we grow alongside it by improving emergency response capabilities, staffing, training, equipment, and long-term public safety planning.

The information gathered from this survey will play a critical role in helping our department pursue future grants and funding opportunities that directly benefit the citizens we serve. Community input is often a key factor in demonstrating need when applying for state and federal funding aimed at enhancing fire protection, emergency medical services, community risk reduction, and public safety initiatives.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support our community has shown Country Corner Fire and EMS over the years. Your trust, encouragement, and partnership allow us to continue serving our residents with pride and dedication.
