On behalf of Soaring Eagles Youth and Family Services, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Tiffany Crutcher for once again extending her hand of generosity and presenting us with a micro-grant to help us continue our mission and vision. At Soaring Eagles, we are committed to helping youth and families heal from intergenerational family trauma by rewriting their stories so they can soar toward successful and purposeful lives.

When I received the gift, I was both humbled and surprised—not simply by the financial support, but by the realization that Dr. Crutcher had been quietly following the work I have been doing with teen girls and their families. Her intentional care reminded me of the scripture that guides my life: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works.” Dr. Crutcher not only saw our work, she deemed it worthy of support, ensuring that small nonprofits like ours are not overlooked.

This is not the first time Dr. Crutcher has sown seeds into our mission, and I am forever grateful for her steadfast commitment—not only to Soaring Eagles Y.F.S., but to many grassroots organizations striving to make a difference. Her generosity is a living testament to her heart for justice, healing, and empowerment.

As we approach Rosh Hashanah—a sacred season of prayer, reflection, and introspection—we also remember that this marks the ninth year since Dr. Crutcher’s twin brother, Mr. Terrance Crutcher, was tragically taken from this world. We honor his memory and legacy, even as Dr. Crutcher continues to transform grief into purpose, and pain into advocacy. Her resilience inspires us to recommit ourselves to justice, healing, and lifting others.

I pray that every seed Dr. Crutcher has planted in the lives of nonprofits and families will be multiplied back to her abundantly—in every area of her life. Because of her generosity, youth and families will continue to rise, to heal, and to soar like eagles—with no distress!!
