Back to school feeling stressy? 😫

Here are some tips to help your kids with those big feelings. ❤️

1. Talk about it - the good, the bad, and the scary. Remember to listen first, and solve later. ✅
2. Now that you listened, make a plan together for how the week will look, what kids can expect, and what they should do if they feel overwhelmed, scared, or worried. 😟
3. Get siblings, friends, or family members on board too. An extra set of eyes and ears is good for you, and your kids. 👧🏻
4. Plan something fun for the end of the day, or week! This way you’ll have something to look forward to, and a way to celebrate accomplishing hard things. 🏆

Our partners preventioncouncil have been selected as a nonprofit partner in the Hannaford Community Bag Program for August 2026! 👏��

This means HFM Prevention Council will receive $1 for every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sold throughout the month of August 2026 at the Hannaford location at 235 Fifth Avenue Extension, Gloversville NY. 🤩��
