Susan Hawkins won the door prize for supporting the Health Fair last week. Trivia baby pictures of our seniors game was played. Lots of fun guessing who was who! We had several new members that attended. Thank you for all who came out today!

💪 Southside Seniors—let’s get moving! Starting July 27, 2026! We have two fantastic group fitness options every week to help you boost your energy, improve your balance, and stay strong. Whether you prefer staying seated or want a full-body standing workout, we have a class tailored just for you. Come join us!
Here is our weekly schedule:
🧘‍♂️ Chair Exercises
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays Time: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Great for: Gentle stretching, joint mobility, and building strength safely from a seated position.
🏋️‍♂️ Full Body Standing Exercises
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Great for: Total-body conditioning, improving balance, and boosting your daily stamina.
📍 Where: Southside Community Center (2142 Hwy 77, Southside, AL) All fitness levels are welcome, and you can move at your very own pace. Grab a friend and come check out a class starting July 27, 2026!

🥳 Big thanks to Abby Billingsley from McGuffey Healthcare for hanging out with the Southside Senior Club today! Abby kept everyone on their toes with a super fun game of Penny Auction. 🪙 There were lots of smiles and plenty of awesome prizes taken home! 🎁To make a great day even better, today was also Dessert Day. 🍫 Several treated themselves to some absolutely delicious brownies from Cothran’s Bakery! 😋Thank you, Abby, and thank you to everyone who came out to make today so special!

🪙 Penny for your thoughts? We’d rather play Pennie Annie! 🤩The Southside Seniors Club had an absolute blast at the Southside Community Center with the wonderful Donna Kilpatrick from Gentiva! 🏥✨Donna brought her famous bag of goodies and hosted an incredibly fun penny auction game. Our members had the best time bidding their pennies and taking home some amazing prizes! The room was filled with so much laughter, friendly competition, and community fellowship. 🎁🎉A huge thank you to Donna for her generosity, her bright energy, and for always bringing so much joy to our club meetings!

🎶 What an absolute treat! The Southside Seniors Club had an incredible morning on 7/29/26 filled with beautiful music, thanks to the incredibly talented Kevin Moore Music! 🎷✨Kevin filled the Southside Community Center with his smooth, soulful sounds, blending favorite gospel, classic praise, and contemporary hits that had everyone smiling and tapping their feet. We always knew our local community was full of talent, but hearing him play live was truly a blessing! A huge thank you to Kevin for sharing his amazing gift with us, and to everyone who came out to listen and enjoy the fellowship.
