Let us help make the season bright - we have kicked off registration for our Holiday Toy Assistance in each of our area offices (Worcester, Milford, Southbridge, Leominster).

We will be taking registrations between October 23 and November 13.

Please make sure that you bring the following so our team can help you as you visit.

1. ONE Special Gift/Item - The main toy or item your child would like to recieve.
2. TWO Additional Smaller Items - List two smaller items your child would like.
3. Child’s Information - Name, Age, S*x (Male, Female, Other), Size (for clothing, shoes. etc), Color preference (as applicable)
4. Birth Certificate - A birth certificate is needed for each child being registered

When you feel ready, reach out to your local WIC clinic to learn about available resources and support. You can continue receiving WIC benefits for up to six months following your loss. At South Central WIC, we’re reminding all our moms, caregivers, and families that taking care of yourself is one of the greatest gifts you can give to the people you love. 💗 This month, make your health a priority! Schedule your annual breast health screening, get familiar with your breasts and report any unusual changes to your healthcare provider, and encourage the women in your life to prioritize their breast health, too.

Early detection can save lives! Let’s spread awareness, support one another, and remember that caring for yourself matters. 🌸

🦃❤️ **4TH ANNUAL THANKSGIVING HOPE FOR ALL TURKEY DRIVE!** 🍂

**REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!**

The holiday season is upon us, and Kind Hearts of Southbridge is once again coming together to spread kindness, compassion, and HOPE throughout our community!

Over the past three years, we've been blessed to see this initiative grow from helping just 45 families to reaching **350 families last Thanksgiving!** And it's all been possible because of the incredible generosity of our community.

**THIS YEAR, WE NEED YOUR HELP MORE THAN EVER!**

While our mission remains the same, our resources are a little more limited this year. Because of this, **registration will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, and assistance will be based on available donations and resources.**

But here's where the beauty of COMMUNITY comes in!

The more individuals, businesses, and organizations that come together to support this initiative, **the MORE families we can help!** Every donation, every sponsorship, and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to making sure another family has a warm Thanksgiving meal to share.

October is SIDS Awareness Month. 👶 💤 🌙 Did you know that creating a safe sleep environment can help reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths? Every nap and bedtime is an opportunity to practice safe sleep!

Remember the ABCs of Safe Sleep:

A — Alone: Keep your baby’s sleep space free of pillows, blankets, stuffed animals and other loose items.

B — Back: Always place your baby on their back for sleep, including naps.

C — Crib: Use a safety approved crib or bassinet, with a firm, flat mattress and a fitted sheet.
