This afternoon, Southborough Recreation had a blast joining the Finn Elementary Back-to-School Fair! 🎈 We loved seeing all the smiling faces, meeting families, and getting everyone excited for the year ahead.

It’s hard to believe summer is already coming to an end! ☀️😭 But we’re ready for a fantastic school year filled with fun, friends, and new adventures! 🎒✨

🎨 We’re so fortunate to be partnering with local artist Keara Mchaffie once again to bring a little more art, color, and creativity to South Union!
We’ve been so excited to watch this project come to life over the past few weeks, and we can’t wait to share the finished piece with you.

Stay tuned for more photos and details once it’s complete!

We’re also looking forward to bringing even more programming, community events, and opportunities to gather together at South Union this year. ❤️

Ready to run, pass, catch, and have some FUN? NFL FLAG Football is back this fall! 🙌

Whether your child is brand new to the game or ready to build on their skills, our Sunday programs are all about learning, teamwork, confidence, and FUN — not competition.

🏈 Grades 3–8: NFL FLAG Football
⭐ Grades 1–2: NEW Skills Clinic with High Point Athletics MA

These co-ed programs are a great way to get active, make new friends, and build football skills in a positive, encouraging environment.

⚓️Southborough, YOU brought the sunshine—even with a little sprinkle! ⚓️

Thank you to everyone who came out for Southborough Summer Nights! A little rain couldn’t stop us from having a GREAT night! ☔️

From inflatables, train rides, meet and greet with Smiley, face painting and balloon art to an incredible lineup of food trucks, there was something for everyone. And then there was Below Deck bringing the cool vibes and all your favorite yacht rock hits—we were dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! 🎶🕺💃

With more food trucks than ever, we’re pretty sure everyone left happy (and very full! 😋).

A HUGE thank you to our amazing sponsors for your generous support. We truly couldn’t do this without you!

And an extra special shoutout to Friends of Southborough Recreation for helping us find the fantastic fireworks show! 🎆

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! 🚢 Southborough Summer Nights is TOMORROW!🎆

All hands on deck! Before you set sail for our biggest summer celebration, here are a few important things to know:

📍 WHERE: Neary School
🕔 EVENT: 5:00–9:00 PM
🚗 PARKING:
• Neary parking lot opens at 4:30 PM
• Parking at the school is limited due to the staging area for roof supplies.
• Overflow parking is available at Trottier Middle School — enter via Deerfoot Road
• Additional overflow parking is available at 225 Turnpike Road

🚧 PARKERVILLE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED for the event. Please plan accordingly.

🍔 FOOD COURT:
Come hungry! We’ll have 13 different food and dessert trucks serving up deliciousness in the food court area on the blacktop near the playground.

🪑 MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME:
Bring a picnic blanket or camp chairs and set up a spot for your family to relax and enjoy the evening.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY TIP:
If you're bringing little ones, choose a designated meeting spot with your family ahead of time—just in case someone gets separated from the crew.

🎨 FREE FUN:
Face painting • Inflatables • Train rides • Photobooth All FREE!

🚨 IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER:
Please do not go around the back of Neary School. This area is restricted school construction staging.
