Ready, Set, Action! is all about the advancements that public health has made over the last few hundred years, and trust us, there's been a lot! From clean water to food safety, scientific advancements in public health have been keeping us safe for a long time.
Human behavior and health education is a field that has been undergoing a lot of advancements, especially in the last few decades! It wasn't until recently that substance use prevention education became its own field of research. Now, we have data showing what campaigns work, and how we can provide youth with the tools they need to make healthy decisions. And this important research is still going on today!
