Is it fall already?! It must be, because we're kicking off our parent and caregiver survey!

This survey is a super quick (only 5 minutes!) and easy way to help us plan the best substance use prevention programs for Northborough and Southborough!

Local problems require local solutions, and we need your help to understand how parents local to Northborough and Southborough view youth substance use! This survey will ask how you talk with your children about drugs and alcohol, but will also ask you what you think about community trends and reasons why you think kids use drugs and alcohol. All of this information is so important to help our coalition design the best support systems for families in our towns!

Have you ever wondered what our annual retreat is like? Watch this video to take an inside look at our 4th annual Encompass Retreat that was held this past Tuesday!

We are so grateful to be in a community like Northborough and Southborough where everyone is committed to reducing youth substance use. Thank you to everyone who came out to our biggest retreat yet!!

Congratulations to our first ever Member of the Year, Det. Stephen Sullivan! We can always rely on Detective Sullivan and Marshall to be coalition champions, and to be a trusted adult for families in our community.

We had a great time yesterday at our Youth Leadership Workshop!

The Algonquin students that attended learned about MetroWest Adolescent Health Data, identified root causes of important issues in our community, and made a mock presentation for community decision makers about their proposed solutions! They also designed their ideal communities! All of these skills are so important to become an effective leader in Northborough and Southborough.

Thanks to all of the students who participated, and to the members of the Allston-Brighton Youth Coalition who came out to show us how they’ve used their voices to improve their community!

School starts next week and Encompass will see you there!

The L.I.Z.Z. Project is a FREE youth empowerment fitness program created to help teens build confidence, strength, self-worth, and healthier habits in a supportive environment. 💪

This program is designed for teens ages 14–19 who may:

✔️ Benefit from structure, encouragement, and accountability
