🚀🌌 We’re sending our very best wishes to Eagle Scout and JNW alumnus Jack Hathaway, who launched today as part of NASA SpaceX Crew-12 on his way to the International Space Station. Jack earned his Eagle Scout rank with Troop 186 South Windsor, CT, and spent part of his Scouting journey right here at J.N. Webster — hiking our trails, building friendships, and developing the leadership that defines both Scouting and space exploration. From campfires to orbit around the Earth, his journey is an incredible testament to where hard work, curiosity, and the values of Scouting can lead. We couldn’t be prouder — clear skies and a successful mission, Jack!

Fall 2025 Court of Honor! 🌟

We started in the daylight and ended under the stars, celebrating the Scouts hard work. Over 67 merit badges earned and 9 rank advancements! These Scouts continue to impress with their dedication and growth. Also, a huge thank you to all our incredible Leaders, whose time and guidance make these opportunities possible.

It was also our annual family picnic, where we came together as a community and Scouting family.

This morning the Scouts gave their time to do some Fall cleanup with our sponsor organization. When asked what it meant, one Scout said, “A Scout is loyal.”

Loyalty is showing up, giving back, and supporting the people and organizations that support us. The Scouts made a meaningful contribution today and really put the Scout Law into action.

T186 senior Scouts took on Mount Washington and crushed it—over 10 miles, serious elevation, and a whole new kind of hiking. This group prepped with practice hikes, gear checks, and a lot of determination.

These scouts showed what it means to be resilient and gained confidence knowing that they can do hard things. It was an unforgettable trip, and we’re thankful to the leaders who supported the adventure.

Another training hike in the books. Today was a 7 mile loop in Salisbury at Bear Mountain. No bear sightings this time…
