I have seen a post that says that Lou Lazzerini, Band Director at SWHS, has died. I have not been able to find any mention of services. Does anyone have any additional information?

SWHS CLASS OF 1972
THANKSGIVING MIXER 2025 - LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY!

It’s been a while since our last get-together, so it’s time we have another. Your reunion committee chose the Thanksgiving weekend since some of our classmates who live elsewhere, may be back in the area to visit family.

(Opposite Peterson’s Hardware, next to Dunkin Donuts)
Time
2 – 5 PM
Price
Everyone is on their own. Eat and drink as much or as little as you like. We will have a room to ourselves to allow for easy mingling. We do ask that you try and pay with a card. With a group of our size, it’s easier for restaurants to run individual tabs that way.
Happy Hour
Their Happy Hour starts at 2pm featuring....
$3.50 Domestic Bottled Beer
$4.50 Domestic Draft Beer
$6 House Red or White Wine, 6 oz
$6.95 apps. (Your choice - Cheese Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, Wings, Steak Eggrolls, Potato Skins)
Regular menu available at any time. (Lunch until 3pm, Dinner after 3pm)

We need to let the restaurant know how many people to expect, so if you want to attend, please try to reply to this email at least a week before the mixer. Be sure to let us know if you will be bringing a spouse or guests as well.
Final Thoughts

Paula, here Recently we’ve been getting spam posts on our page and I’m trying to figure out how to stop them. When I see them, I block them, but we still are getting hit.
When Deborah set up the page, she set it as Public and I’m wondering if we should create a new page that is considered a Group and you have to be a member in order to see it.

That would mean we’d have to transfer everything over or create a totally new, but you would have to like the page or join it. Thoughts??

While digging through the numerous levels of managing this page, I didn’t realize that we were being followed and tracked by our s*x status or our gender ID.

I’m wondering if the other category that has 11.7% might be the South Windsor bobcats?
I know it’s lame. But what is your guess?

Today I attended a very small graveside service for Sharon Hitchcock Bruno. Sharon was one of our classmates and a very quiet shy individual. We we closer friends in grammer school, but drifted in HS.

I went with Janie Fletcher Zerio, and met up with Sharon’s sister Phyllis.

It hit me when I was standing there that we are all approaching the part of out life and more and more of us will be in the same situation.
I personally am glad that I went because there were so few people there.

That made me wonder who will possibly be at my graveside. Life gets lonely as we get older and I just wanted to say now, before I am gone, thanks for being a friend and part of my life.

Sharon had a stroke in 2016, while living in Florida. She was married three times, but never had children She had a difficult life, especially at the end.

(The urn that contained her ashes was beautiful, and because I’m shopping, i snapped this photo.)

May you rest in peace Sharon and one day find those horses. 🙏🏻

Friends and relatives are invited to a graveside service at the Wapping Cemetery at 50 Oakland Road, South Windsor on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11 am.
