Happy Saturday.

Spreading the word about the Tool Share mission has been on our minds lately and we're in search of a few volunteers who know their way around SOMA. As we continue building a strong social media presence, we think it makes sense for us to elevate our local networking game. We're envisioning an outreach of sorts to the area's community groups, meeting and greeting stakeholders and making them aware of SOMA Tool Share. More importantly, we'd love to brainstorm on ways of working with them.

Yard signs are in. To help us get the word out, let us know if your SOMA front lawn could host our 12 x 12 in sign. DM us your address and we'll take care of it.

Have you checked our tool catalog to see what we carry? It's an easy click and search on the link above. With more than 1,400 tools available for loan, this is a little (start-up) library that could.

Time flies when you're having fun. Or when you're setting up shop. We thought we'd share how much has evolved since our pre launch days. Where we stored our early inventory, what our situation was when we decided to just get going and our current state. It's all about making it work (and fit).

Sometimes, you don't need to idealize perfection. You just need to get going and let the rest fall into place.

Thank you for being supportive of our endeavor to bring you a community tool share resource.

We got a surprise donor drop today SOMA Tool Share! A resident is moving out of state and donated some pretty cool and gently-used tools to the library. We'll share deets as soon as we add them into our inventory.

P/s We take donations but prefer that you reach out first to let us know what items you have so we can ensure we are not overstocking on any one thing (due to space constraints).
