Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 6:00PM at the Piggotte Center.

Parking at South Daytona Elementary School

For more than 20 years, this South Daytona tradition has brought our community together for a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration. Join us for an evening filled with costumes, games, and fun, all at no cost!

Bring the family to enjoy the Toddler Zone, Petting Zoo, Inflatables, Carnival Games, Snacks, and Music. Come dressed for the occasion. Our costume contests have a category for everyone, including theme groups!

Costume Contest Schedule:
• 6:15 p.m. — Ages 3 and under
• 6:30 p.m. — Ages 4–8
• 6:45 p.m. — Ages 9–12
• 7:00 p.m. — Theme Groups
• 7:15 p.m. — Ages 13–17
• 7:30 p.m. — Adults

Admission and all activities are FREE!

Celebrate South Daytona’s history with Mayor Bill Hall!

Join us at the Citizens Alert and CERT meeting on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 p.m. for Mayor Hall’s South Daytona history presentation.

As we wrap up the City’s 75th anniversary year, we’ll reflect on our community’s past and celebrate how far we’ve come.

Everyone is welcome! We hope to see you there!

The October Citizens Alert meeting is cancelled.

Look out for South Daytona’s Night Out Against Crime Parade on Tuesday, October 6, from 6-7 p.m.!

We look forward to seeing you at our November Meeting on Thursday, November 5, at 6:00pm.

The parade will travel throughout the City. Turn on your porch light, come outside, and wave as our police officers and firefighters pass through your neighborhood!

What a great day!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, or donated to make today’s Kailynne Quartier Memorial Ride so memorable. We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity and support from our community.

To everyone who participated in the ride, thank you for spending your Saturday with us and helping make this event such a success. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

If you joined us today, thank you for being part of it. If you missed it, you definitely don’t want to miss next year!

The City is committed to enhancing its stormwater system to better manage flooding events.

Community Development Director Josh McEnany and staff attended the annual pre-hurricane coordination meeting with the City’s debris removal contractor and monitoring firm. While we hope their services won’t be needed this season, staff and our contractors are prepared and ready to respond if necessary.

We will be providing updates to our residents via Facebook and on our website to keep you informed of our progress. We have both large and small-scale improvement projects that we will be completing in our residential neighborhoods so stay tuned.
