🎉 A Summer to Remember at Our New Library! 📚☀️

What a wonderful day we had celebrating summer and our brand new library! Thank you to everyone who came out to make this celebration so special.

Highlights from the day: ✨ Unveiling our Gratitude Board — a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped bring our new library to life 🏐 Outdoor fun with co****le and ladder ball tournaments 👩‍💼 Honoring Jean Dempster, our beloved former library president, for her incredible contributions 🎨 Kids crafting beautiful bookmarks with Marcia Tobey 📖 Browse and grab new kids' books from our giveaway table! 🥐 Delicious breakfast and lunch spreads courtesy of Nash’s Cafe.

And a massive thank you to the generous private donor whose gift made the refreshments, book giveaways, and many of our new collection additions possible! 💜

We couldn't be more grateful for this community that shows up, celebrates together, and loves learning. Here's to many more gatherings under our new library roof!

Our historic library made its debut on Fox Bangor TV! 🎬

Watch as FOX ABC Maine tells the story of our journey from the 1830s to our new chapter. One of Maine's oldest libraries has moved to a larger, modern facility, now housing over 10,000 books and expanded programming spaces for our community.
