Are you prepared when disaster strikes? Join United Way of Central WV for a FREE Emergency Preparedness Workshop right here on the West Side!

Whether it’s severe weather, an unexpected emergency, or a larger disaster, being prepared can make all the difference. Learn how to build an emergency kit, protect your finances, and know what steps to take after a disaster.

There will also be food, a disaster bag for attendees, raffle prizes, and a chance to WIN a solar powered generator!

Summer is winding down and fall is showing her beautiful colors…..and the garden still produces. Today the produce was delivered to Recovery Point

Ella says it's time to volunteer at Rock Lake tomorrow morning! She plans to be there supervising our vegetable and flower garden crews, accepting pets from volunteers from 9 am to noon.

On Tuesday, we delivered almost 150 pounds of freshly picked organic veggies to the Spring Street Pantry at Hissom Tabernacle! You can be part of the movement to lift up our community with healthy food and learn how to grow your own.

Join us Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9 to noon! No experience needed and we will warmly welcome you.
