Last 2 hours if anyone wants last minute gifts or stocking stuffers, and help us with paying our vet bills before dissolving. CHASE has helped so many over the years, and couldn’t have without community support. We ran strictly on donations and like so many rescues, we struggled. So one last time, we’re asking for help as a non profit🙏🏻

I will be drawing for the blanket between 8-9 tonight, ending this fundraiser.

As you may have heard, 12/31/25 will officially be our last day as a full fledged rescue and this will be our last fundraiser.. ever🥺… all proceeds will go towards paying off our remaining vet bills.

All names for each item purchased will go into a drawing for the throw pictured. If you purchase 3 items, your name is entered 3 times.. etc.

Price and description is captioned under each picture. NOTHING OVER $20!

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the dissolution of CHASE, effective 12/31/25.
CHASE was established mostly to be able to immediately pull animals from the Putnam shelter, and with all the great changes and updates, I feel we have accomplished what we set out to do.

When I started with PCAS, we first worked for a few years networking. We were only allowed to pull those at risk of euthenization, (the sick, seniors, puppies, kittens, bottle babies, pregnant or behavioral issue cats and dogs). Networking them took time since only non profits could pull them. In that period, many would pass or be euthenized. So for us to immediately pull them to safety, I established CHASE. Over the years with the help of our phenomenal fosters, and accepting rescue partners we were able to save literally thousands!

I’m so very grateful for the changes at this shelter, as well as the community support, the fosters, transport drivers, the adopters and for the rescue partners who contributed to the amount of dogs, cats, rabbits and so many other critters that were given a chance at forever! It couldn’t have happened without every single one of you that supported us.

I did have bigger plans for CHASE that I just couldn’t bring to fruition, unfortunately. I have cried tears of heartbreak and utter joy over the years, but I have zero regrets on the work we were able to do for the animals and our community.

We do, however, still have outstanding vet bills (around $1500) that we need to pay off. We have some remaining items I will be posting in a week or so in an effort to fundraise to help get them PIF, so stay tuned for that!

Once again, with a lump in my throat, a tear in my eye and an ache in my heart (goodbyes are hard), I thank you all so very much for helping us save so many furbabies that are now loving life!

💔We come to you again asking for help😞

Last week we were contacted to try to help with 2 adults and 2 puppies. The finder saw puppies being given away at a grocery store parking lot. She approached this person and a conversation ensued. There were more pups but they were given away already and in the course of the conversation she found out that momma and another adult were still at their house. Having fallen on hard times, this person was desperate to "get rid" of the puppies. The Finder offered to take the puppies and the adults off their hands and after much conversation and communication, they agreed. They were transported to a foster who, is taking excellent care while we’re trying to get them into another rescue with more resources.

The foster had them all seen by a vet, (foster name and pups names redacted on invoices attached, as well as no pics at this time to keep the foster and the animals safe as there were some threats to the puppies well being) as well as taken the adults for bloodwork. Unfortunately one was diagnosed with Lyme but is being treated.

We've attached her invoices with hopes that we can raise some, if not all of her costs to reimburse her.

Too often finders and fosters, as well as rescues, don't have funds on hand to get the immediate vetting, but thankfully this jewel of an animal lover did❤️

If you can donate anything so that we can help her so she can help if the need arises again it'd be greatly appreciated.

We can't do what we do without the community’s help, and this foster went one step beyond🙏🏻

Poor GunGun…he has MULTIPLE beds everywhere in this house… including 2 in the bedroom with us, but when thunder comes, he’s right beside momma on the rug.. I remind him he’s safe still❤️..he’s the best boy❤️
