🎅🚲 WEST VIRGINIA FIRST RESPONDER AGENCIES — WE WANT TO PARTNER WITH YOU! 🚲🎅

Registration is now open for 2026 Operation Santa’s Handlebars!

Does your West Virginia law enforcement or first responder agency host a Shop With a Cop, Shop With a Deputy, Shop With a First Responder, or similar holiday program for children?

The Serve First Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, wants to help make your event even more special.

Through Operation Santa’s Handlebars, selected agencies will receive a FREE NEW BICYCLE for EVERY child participating in their holiday program — at no cost to the agency or participating families.

🚓 Police Departments
⭐ Sheriff’s Offices
🚒 Fire Departments
🚑 EMS Agencies
📞 911/Emergency Communications
🛡️ Other WV First Responder/Public Safety Agencies

Participating agencies must be located in West Virginia and designate an agency point of contact to work directly with our team on participant numbers, bicycle sizing, delivery, and event logistics.

📅 AGENCY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2026

Interested agencies should complete our 2026 Agency Partnership Request Form. The Serve First Foundation will review submissions and contact selected agencies to confirm participation and begin coordination.

Help us spread the word by sharing this post with law enforcement and first responder agencies across West Virginia!

🚓🚒🚑 THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE MISSION! ❤️💙

Operation Ice Cream is about more than free ice cream and family fun. At the heart of this event is our mission to Bridge the Gap between first responders and the communities they serve—and we couldn’t do that without the incredible agencies and community organizations willing to show up and be part of it.

We’re excited to welcome this year’s participating agencies and organizations to Operation Ice Cream 2026:

• West Virginia State Police
• Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department
• Mingo County Sheriff’s Department
• South Charleston Police Department
• Charleston Police Department
• Saint Albans Police Department
• Linx EMS
• Kenova EMS
• Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority (KCEAA)
• Metro 911
• East Bank Volunteer Fire Department
• WV K9 Search & Rescue
• West Virginia National Guard

🤝 COMMUNITY PARTNERS & ORGANIZATIONS
• Charleston Dirty Birds
• Big Brothers Big Sisters
• The Spark of Love Foundation
• Kids of Kanawha
• Alcoholics Anonymous
• AT&T FirstNet

These organizations aren’t simply setting up a table or bringing a vehicle—they’re giving families an opportunity to meet the people who serve their communities, ask questions, learn about available resources, and build positive connections.

To every agency, first responder, volunteer, and community organization joining us this year: THANK YOU. Your willingness to spend the day with our community is what makes the mission of Serve First Foundation possible.

We wrapped up the 2025 Operation Santa’s Handlebars on Friday evening, and it was another incredible moment of impact.

Thanks to our partners at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State, 35 bicycles were placed directly into the hands of kids who needed them most. Partnerships like this are exactly what make our mission possible.

At Serve First Foundation, we are grateful for organizations that share our heart for service and community. We look forward to continuing this partnership and working together year after year to make a difference—one bike, one child, one moment at a time.
