CHARITY LEAGUE of Atlantic County raises over $130,000 every year for women and children in need in Atlantic County.

Our main fundraiser is the Christmas pin, handcrafted by members and sold only at our annual Christmas Mart. CHARITY LEAGUE of Atlantic County has been working on behalf of women and children in Atlantic County since 1935. Volunteers create heirloom quality Christmas items and sell them to raise approximately $150,000 per year.

Charity League of Atlantic County had a sign on the corner of English Creek and Ocean Heights advertising for their annual Christmas Mart. The sign has been placed there every year for many years. It has suddenly disappeared!

This organization is a non-profit raising money to support LOCAL charities. The mart is their largest fundraiser. These signs are very expensive to replace.

If you have any information on where it may have gone or who might be responsible please PM me.

We are proud to have presented $115,000 to our five charities this year. We work extremely hard to earn these funds. It’s becoming increasingly more difficult. Thank you to all who support us.

Yesterday we held our annual Installation Luncheon at the Doc’s Place in Somers Point. Because our officers now serve two year terms, we didn’t have any new officers to install. We are very pleased to present our new provisional, Diana Adams (center). Diana is joined by Grace Burch (l) president, and Darlene Beasley, provisionals chair.
