We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Lisa Giannuzzi '96.
Lisa volunteered at our Nativity Prep Thanksgiving events. She was also known in our community for transforming empty wine (and beer) bottles into scented soy candles.
She will be missed. The club will have a Grotto candle lit in her memory.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

History = MADE! 🎉 Quantifying what community looks like: 5,100+ volunteers, 2 days, and a massive, record-breaking 2 MILLION MEALS packed! 📦✨
We are absolutely blown away by the energy at Cathedral Catholic High School this weekend. From the music pumping to the assembly lines flying, our ND community put faith into action in the most beautiful way.
Because of your hard work, 1 million meals are heading across the border and internationally to families in poverty, and 1 million meals are staying right here in San Diego to be distributed locally by .
To every parish group, family, student, and donor who helped us crush our goals-THANK YOU. You didn’t just pack food today; you packed hope.

The Notre Dame Club of San Diego has been granted special permission for an exclusive screening of the highly anticipated new documentary, Lou Holtz: 60 Minutes To Play And a Lifetime To Remember. This film has only been shown to two other private audiences, making this a truly rare opportunity for our local ND family!

Directed by Notre Dame Professor Ted Mandell '86, the film takes you behind the scenes of 2009, when Coach Holtz returned to the sidelines for the final game of his legendary career. Watch the wit, wisdom, and intensity of Holtz as he prepares a team of former Fighting Irish players to take on a Japanese all-star team in the Notre Dame Japan Bowl in Tokyo.
Even better? Professor Ted Mandell will be joining us in person for the evening!

☘Timeline: 6:00 PM: Social Hour (Sandwiches, beer, wine, water, and soft drinks generously sponsored by Tana Hutchinson Franchise Search Firm)
7:00 PM: Film Screening followed by Q&A with Professor Mandell
☘Where: University of San Diego, Mother Rosalie Hill Hall, Executive Classroom (Room #102)
☘Parking: Free parking is available in the garage directly underneath the building.
☘Cost: $25 for paid club members, $30 for non-members
All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to the Global Football Foundation and Holtz’s Heroes.

Our ND Women Connect group is volunteering from 12:30 to 3pm and invite everyone to attend.
