Our last month of school was full of fun! From graduation, field day fun, to in-kind pizza parties, May was a blast at JETS! A HUGE thank you to Snyder Independent School District for sending us their NJHS students to run our field day games, you guys made the day run so smooth and so much more fun!

A special congratulations to our graduates, Ms. Jasmine Gonzales, Ms. Erica Martinez, Ms. Angelica Lopez, Ms. Haley Murphy, Ms. Collyns Correa, and Mrs. Jennifer Furgerson! Congratulations on all of your hard work ladies, JETS is so lucky to have you!

We decided we had to end the school year with something a little silly and FUN… because honestly,
we’re all POOPED! 💩🤎🤍🧻

With so many of our staff balancing their own children’s end-of-year activities over the next few days while still loving on our little learners, we figured this theme fit perfectly.

Shout out to Mrs. Jennifer F & Mrs. Tiffany for this fun little surprise! 🫶

Today Headstart celebrates its 61st birthday! Since the summer of 1965, Headstart has reached over 40 million children and families across the country. 61 years of learning, family support, and communities showing up for their littlest members! Happy Birthday Headstart, we love you!

Can you believe it’s already the LAST week of school?!

We have some fun planned before summer break begins!

Wednesday: Students can bring a towel, small blanket/sleeping bag, and 1–2 favorite books for a special “Reading in the Wilderness” day! Classrooms will turn into forts & campsites for a cozy day of reading & fun. If the weather permits, we’ll even have tents outside on the playground!

Don’t forget! Our final Policy Council Meeting will also take place following drop-off on Wednesday morning.

Thursday: All students must be picked up by 12:00 noon!

Thank you for an amazing school year. Let’s make this last week one to remember!
