Another great outing from Ag Mech/Welding team. Congratulations for representing our Snyder Tigers!!!! Keep it up … we are rooting for you!

Once again, I am behind. Last Thursday I took 7 students from both the ag mechanics and welding classes to compete in the annual Wichita Falls weld-off. I’m not sure how many kids participate, but it’s hundreds of them. These guys did great! 14 out of the 14 welds they completed certified in AWS D9.1. Chris Vigil ended up placing 1st in GMAW 3F vertical up. Tomas Ramos placed 2nd in SMAW 2F horizontal. Ethan Garza placed 1st in SMAW 3F vertical up. Tomas Ramos also placed 3rd in the 2F horizontal pipe to plate division. I think these guys definitely showed their Tiger Pride. Please congratulate them when you see them.
