This past week, the Concord Crossing apartment community suffered a devastating fire. Several individuals lost their lives and many families have been displaced. Located less than a mile from our campus, these families are truly our neighbors. Now is the time to show up as the Church. In addition to praying for the community, please consider partnering over the next two weeks by dropping off Walmart and Target gift cards at the Faith in Action table in the church lobby which will be distributed to impacted families.

A huge thank you to every one of you who joined us for the 2025 Transforming Our Communities seminar. Your energy, passion, and commitment to serving our city and living out justice, equity & compassion made all the difference.

Together, we explored how to partner with schools, stand in solidarity with neighbors experiencing poverty, and break the silence surrounding mental health. We believe real change happens when we move with our community—not just for it.

We’re excited to launch our 2026 Donation Drive, now through February 17! As you clean out the closet to make room for new toys and Christmas gadgets, it’s a wonderful opportunity to give to the community.

Bring your bagged household & clothing items to the truck on Sundays & Saturdays from 9-1 pm and to the donation bin during the week. Our goal is for each family to bring 3 bags each, and we’ll fill the truck fast!

We’re looking for friendly, dependable volunteers to help serve at our Donation Truck! This role helps create a welcoming, organized space for our community to give and support Local Missions.

As a Donation Truck volunteer, you’ll:

Welcome donors and receive donated items
Help consolidate and organize donations inside the truck
Work alongside another volunteer to keep the area clean, safe, and inviting

This is a great way to serve hands-on, meet others, and make a tangible impact through generosity and sustainability. No special skills required—just a willing heart and a readiness to help 💙

Donation Truck Volunteer Volunteers will serve at the donation truck located at the church on Saturdays and Sundays only, helping to receive donated items, consolidate loose donations into garbage bags, and place any items left around the outside of the truck safely inside. Summer Lunch Volunteers needed!

Cumberland's Local Missions will be partnering with Must Ministries again this year to provide student lunches to our local families. We will be serving these families every Tuesday, from 12:30 to 2:30pm at the church, from June 7th through July 26th.
