🎭🎶 A big congratulations to Sleepy Hollow High School student Matias Huertas on earning a 2026 Metropolitan High School Theater Award!
Matias received the Outstanding Performance by a Student Pit Musician (Reeds/Saxophone) award for his work in the SHHS production of Chicago. His talent, dedication, and musicianship helped drive the rhythm and energy of the show, earning him recognition among the region's top student performers.
The Metro Awards celebrate exceptional high school musical theater productions and the talented students and creative teams behind them throughout Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, and Bergen counties.
We are incredibly proud of Matias for this outstanding achievement, and grateful to our music and theater educators for helping students discover and share their talents on stage and in the pit! 👏🎷...
