Time to make the donuts
You've heard the expression "waiting for the other shoe to drop"
Basically, it's a point of anxiety where you're always waiting for something to go wrong. Waiting for other shoe to hit the ground something something something must be wrong.
But honestly, I feel that way sometimes too. I feel like one of my jobs is to avoid the shoes (problems) that drop all around me. I always say that I'm a professional plate spinner, Cat wrangler and shoe avoider.
Life is already tough enough without worrying about something that hasn't happened or probably won't even happen. That doesn't mean that every time someone calls me and say hey man, we need to talk about something or hey I've got an issue that I don't think the world is about to fall down around me. What it means is that I have to depend 1000% on God every single day. Without the Lord, I would lose my mind.
We must find our peace in Jesus. If not every single thing every day will knock you down. And you will have a harder time getting up every single time.
Jesus is not a crutch! He is absolutely what holds us together the glue the duct tape whatever you wanna call it.
Without Jesus, you can't even handle the smallest of issues. Do yourself a favor today. Find some Jesus & put him in the driver seat.
And LISTEN Linda that doesn't just mean when you're having problems.
That means every single decision, every single day, put it before the Lord.
Even what kind of cereal you're gonna eat in the morning.
Heck, I even ask Jesus which leg to put on the floor first when I get up. They're both gonna crack, but I want him to choose which one cracks first.
The moral of the story is, you can't handle life on your own, and you cannot find peace without the prince of peace.
Read your word today. Read the book of John the book of James. The book of Philippians read something and ask God to show you what's next.
I'm sure he's got your donuts prepared
Have a great day
Love you guys
