Join the Mt Shasta Goddess Temple Priestesses every day of Florida Pagan Gathering for a ritual and sharing circle remembering our beloved dead. Each day of Dia de Los Mu***os has its own theme,
and you are welcome to attend the days that serve your needs for a safe, magical, loving space to lift your heart and words. Dia de Los Mu***os gives us unique opportunities to open up about significant and specific crossings, as well as inviting all our benevolent dead to draw nearer and feel our warmth and love. October 28 is for those who died alone, for the niños, those who died as children, those taken before their time, or through miscarriage or SIDS, and for our sweet animal friends on the other side.
Oct 29 is for those who died in accidents or tragic circumstances. Oct 30 is for those who died on or near the water, including ancestors lost during migration, those who died from drowning, those who were lost due to heart or kidney problems, those who died due to hunger, including impoverished ancestors, and those with diabetes, stomach or liver cancer, or eating disorders. October 31 is for ALL of our beloved dead, calling them forth with incense, flowers, songs, and light. Every day, plan on 30-45 minutes of ritual with a chance to share the names and stories from your list, followed by a brief personal divination to receive messages from those who are waiting to talk with you from beyond the veil. Stone Grill

Join us for the return of a great FPG tradition. Much like a Stone Soup where everyone in the community brings something for the pot…with the Stone Grill you bring something to share with the community and we cook it up on our big stone grill. Come Sing! Goddess Calling Redux - Raise your Voices for Bodily Autonomy

So we all know what happened in June of 2022. The Supreme Court of the United States struck down a Landmark decision that was made in 1973 that Women had the Constitutional Right to make their own Reproductive Healthcare Decisions. As pagan musicians Kira and I, as well as 17 other bands, 19 in all, came together to create the Red Album: Pagan Voices for Reproductive Rights, and it was released in June of 2023 - 1 year from the day that women lost the right to make their own healthcare choices. This album raises money to support the National Abortion Federation and Elevated Access, two organizations that help people to get to and obtain that healthcare when it is needed most. My song, Goddess Calling, speaks to the Ancient Ones, the true creators of our reality. We call to those who gave birth to the world. The creators of the sea and of the land and of the pathways of the world. We call upon the Mother of Fates to bring her children's awareness to those who would push us into the slavery of continual forced childbirth, and to the Ultimate goddess of power to fill us with her Chaotic energies so that we may rise up and fight for our Human Reproductive Rights and our Bodily Autonomy, and we call upon you All to stand against this and other oppressive new laws that are being passed in this land, and fight in any way you can, for each other, and for our world. This song not only calls for bodily autonomy for women, but for all – female, male, and everything in between, as we face continued creation of laws that would control our bodies, our minds, and our spirits, and would outlaw us as rainbow beings in their black and white worlds. Come join us as we teach you one of the three parts of this song and then join us again during the concert Thursday evening to help us to raise energy and send our renewed requests to the Goddesses of old and today to come to our aid as we continue the fight for bodily autonomy in these ever darkening times. Patchwork Divination: Stitching a Spread from Multiple Sources

Have you ever considered using Tarot cards & oracle decks together? What about cards & runes? Join Lore for a chat about how and why one might choose to combine divination methods to create their own patchwork spreads. Then, as a group, co-create a community reading from a variety of sources. Participants are encouraged to bring their own decks to contribute to the reading. This workshop is for anyone interested in creating their own process of divination and/or writing their own spreads. We will not cover interpreting individual cards or symbols, instead our focus will be on how to blend multiple decks, runes, dice, trinkets, etc together to form a cohesive message from a variety of sources. Stars, Constellations, and Talismans

Want to give your prayers, petitions, and magickal workings an extra boost of star power? Joseph will lead us on a journey to explore the wondrous star helpers who surround and watch over our lives and send their energies to us from afar. We will cover the basics of astrological talismans and instructions for making one, explore some of the famous 15 Behenian Fixed Stars and their lore, participate in an ancient prayer to our Sun from the medieval grimoire ‘The Picatrix’, and learn about the nightly constellations and the planet Saturn you can glimpse during these Samhain festival evenings. Joseph is also available for Q&A about astrology and mini readings for those who volunteer their info throughout the session. Embody the Divine; Dance through Chant and Song

In this workshop we will connect our inner sacred selves with our physical being through traditional World sacred movement. Experience a deeper connection to the chants and rhythms that we use for spiritual expression through breathwork, aligning ourselves with each other and in nature. We’ll learn moves along with songs and chants for processions, rituals, personal practice and dance offerings. No experience necessary, low impact and some dances can be done seated, participate as much as you are able.

Daimons and Demons: Misinformation and Approaches

In ancient times there were beliefs about spirits known in Greece as daimones, or daimons, as well as other spirits in nearby lands that affected their lives for good and ill. As time and religious upheavals developed, religious teachings throughout Europe changed to fit the political zeitgeist, changing magical approaches from daimons and their alteration into evil demonic spirits in medieval Jewish and Christian grimories. Come learn about the history of these spirits and what demons truly are, and how to approach these spirits in their rightful place for healing, protection, and spiritual growth. (Adults Only)
Art Meditation for Everyone

Mankind’s First Medicine: Aromatherapy, the Egyptian Approach

This workshop covers the ancient Egyptian approach to essential oils. It will cover how they made them, their use of them and some Egyptian deities who were influential during their time. Some scientific aspects of how essential oils react to the human body as well as a small list of oil use for specific effects will be offered. CAUTION: Throughout this lecture samples of essential oils will be passed around the participants as the lecture progresses. Anyone with specific allergies should contact Lord Orellum directly to determine their sensitivities before the lecture (All Ages Welcome)
Masks of Aos Si

On Samhain the veil between worlds thins- and with it the Aos Si or people of the Fairy mounds come out. In order to blend in and be protected from tricky otherworldly beings, the tradition of wearing 'Guising' masks was practiced. You will be provided with a paper mache mask to decorate with watercolor paints to make your own. (All Ages Welcome)

Qabalistic Pathworking: Guided Journeying for the Path of The

We encourage all magicians to explore the totality of reality. In Qabalistic thought, Kether extends to Malkuth in a distinct progression of 32 paths, from Source to Manifestation. The practice of Pathworking attunes us to the mystical Tree of Life as a representation of reality so that we may experience it as more than an intellectual construct. For this workshop we will provide a multisensory approach to Qabalistic pathworking and this specific path of Resh so that we are prepared for the journey ahead. We will perform a couple of brief rituals to prepare the space. Then, we will embark on a journey of the imagination. We are seeking a felt sensation and a light, calm transformative blessing. Connecting to the Path of Resh and Tarot Atu XIX (The Sun), this journey invokes aware freedom, authenticity, and awakened self-expression. Sands of Becoming - A Ritual Dance from the Tomb Walls

Drawing on documented postures from ancient Egyptian dancers — the synchronized hnr troupes, the ancestor-greeting muu performers, and threshold-crossing acrobatic gestures — this workshop teaches a three-part ritual dance moving through mourning, rebirth, and joy. Rooted in real iconographic evidence and taught with full transparency about what survives and what's reconstructed, this is embodied ritual technology, not costume-drama. This is similar to a sauna in outward appearance, but far more significant in meaning. It is a cleansing, not only of the body, but of the mind, heart, and spirit as well. Ancestral Reverence and the Southern Soul Pot

Within the Faery Seership tradition, we teach that seekers cannot achieve true contact with other spiritual beings such as the Fae, without honoring their ancestral bloodline. Awakening ancestral wisdom is key to understanding your free will in this lifetime. The soul pot can be a potent point of contact between a seeker and their ancestral heritage keepers. We will explore this practice that has its roots in Southern folk magick and how to make a soul pot that functions as an ever-evolving, portable ancestor altar. (All Ages Welcome)
Magick Circles, Information & Usage

This workshop will cover the who, what, where and when of Magic Circles. What they are and how they relate to you. Who can and can't use them. Where they can be used as well as when they should
be made. We will cover what the Magic Circle means to the microcosm as well as the macrocosm, as well as what that means for the person inside the circle. How meditation, preparation, personality, and location affect the Magic Circle. What the practitioner's purpose for the circle is. Handouts will be given of the entire workshop with space on them to make notes so all you need is a pen/pencil and curiosity!!

Crafting and Using a Magic Wand

First, we will craft a wand using materials we will provide. Each participant will be given a package containing a bamboo shaft, a crystal and herbs to place in the hollow of the wand. Next will consecrate our wands to empower them, with a simple rite that creates holy water or Aqua Sancta. Then we will share simple techniques that you can perform with your new wand. We will invoke all four elements and two of spirit with our new wands by drawing the appropriate pentagrams in the air and visualizing and feeling the elemental energies. The wand and a tie dye warp for it will be yours to keep. **There is a limit to 35 people for this class. Please sign up at the Registration Tent. ** (All Ages Welcome)

Join us as we regain our connection to Pachamama through this hapé circle and ceremony. Hapé is a plant medicine used by Native South American tribes for healing and spiritual insight. It is a to***co in the form of a powder that is applied through the nostrils. Come learn about this sacred medicine and how to integrate its use into your spiritual practice. You will have the opportunity to be served the medicine by our Medicine Woman and sit with the medicine in a meditative space as we connect to the divine within and without. Awakening the Mysteries of the Runes, a Journey to Yggdrasil

The Elder Futhark rune staves (commonly referred to as “the runes”) have intrigued witches, magicians, and occult types for ages as a source of divination and as tools of magic. Studying the runes can easily become a lifelong endeavor of deepening mystery while attempting to understand their secrets. Join Lore for a meditation ritual focused on the World Tree, Yggdrasil, and Awakening (or Expanding) your personal path into the Mysteries of the Runes. This workshop will not focus on the individual meanings of the runes, choosing instead to use our time together to focus on how to build relationships & our own gnosis with the runes. Time permitting and participants willing, after returning from our meditative journey, we will discuss our experiences and divinatory & magical uses for the runes. Please bring a chair or blanket so you can be comfortably positioned for the duration of the meditation ritual. You may also want to bring pen & paper to take notes about your experience. A Guided Meditation & Intuitive Painting Workshop Connect with the divine through creativity in this unique guided meditation and painting experience. Together, we will begin with a gentle,
grounding meditation, designed to help you quiet the mind and open yourself to the presence of a deity, spirit, ancestor, or sacred energy that wishes to be known. Following the meditation, participants will express what they experienced through intuitive painting. This is not an art class, and no artistic experience is necessary. The focus is on allowing symbolism, color, emotion, and inspiration to flow naturally onto the canvas rather than creating a perfect image. Whether your painting becomes a detailed portrait, an abstract expression of divine energy, or simply a collection of meaningful colors and symbols, you will leave with a deeply personal piece of sacred art and a greater connection to your spiritual practice. Participants will: Experience a guided meditation to connect with a deity, god, goddess, or sacred presence. Learn techniques for translating spiritual experiences into visual art. Create an intuitive painting in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Reflect on the symbolism and messages that emerge through the creative process. All experience levels are welcome. Belly Dance – For All

Middle Eastern dance is for all ages, genders and abilities. In Egypt Raqs Sharqi means Oriental Dance, or our dance. Its a combination of folk and social dances that people do for joyous occasions to celebrate and spend time with each other. Learn some basic moves that you can build upon. We will start with somatic dance exercises to open ourselves to our inner divinity, then connect with each other in duets, in groups, and with our spirit selves, the class will end by grounding ourselves in nature, all through dance movement. You Can Play the Flute and Love It!

You can play a flute and love it! The Native American flute has been reported to be the third oldest known musical instrument in the world. Native Flutes have been used for spirit calling ceremonies, powerful prayer ceremonies, courting and love songs. I will teach a beginning workshop for those just starting or just interested in the Native American flute. The workshop will cover the basics of playing a Native American flute including scales, fi*****ng and special techniques. How to care for your flute, what to look for when buying a flute and a bit of the history will also be discussed. Whether you own a flute or not you can attend. Flutes will be provided for use during the workshop. I will also talk about and show how to play an overtone flute. (All Ages Welcome)

The Magick of Gemstone Paints Watercolor Workshop

Since the beginning of human history, before the invention of synthetic pigments, gemstones have been finely ground into pigments for painting. In this workshop you will be guided through a watercolor lesson using authentic Amethyst, Kyanite, Bloodstone & Garnet, to create a magickal scene perfect for Samhain. (All Ages Welcome)
Rock ’n’ Roll Magick: Sorcerers, Shamans and High Weirdness

Join Rick de Yampert, a newspaper journalist who has covered rock, pop and hip-hop music for 45 years, as he explores how the occult, magick, shamanic practices, metaphysical matters and alternative spirituality have infused popular music – and how such practices, in turn, have influenced, spellbound and glamoured us listeners. “Pop-folk singer Judy Collins told me during a phone interview that she inadvertently conjured a demon,” Rick says. “Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek told me he believed in Chinese numerology, and as a ‘9’ he had decided to forgo reincarnation. Tori Amos told me how she cavorted with Pandora.” Along with drawing from Rick’s personal interviews of rock artists and his concert experiences (Carlos Santana’s talk of “spiritual orgasm,” Marilyn Manson’s self-mutilation with a broken b**r bottle), this workshop will examine the usual suspects: Jimmy Page’s fascination/obsession with Aleister Crowley, the devil games of black metal and Black Sabbath, Anton LaVey’s views on what he calls “true” satanic music, Jim Morrison’s claim that he was possessed by a Native American shaman, the backwards-masking uproar of the mid-1980s, and the occult leanings of David Bowie, Tool and others. The workshop also will examine instances of how rock music has glamoured listeners, including: counterculture writer Erik Davis’s views on the occult power of Led Zeppelin’s fourth album, Jim Morrison’s views on the “neuroses of crowds,” beat writer William Burroughs’s discussion of magick with Led Zep’s Jimmy Page, occult writer Alan Richardson’s vision of Cernunnos at a Rolling Stones connect, the Stones’s performance of “Symphony for the Devil” at the infamous Altamont concert, etc. Attendees will be asked to share their uncanny experiences under the spell of rock music, and Rick will share a few simple techniques for using rock to enter an altered state.

Ancestor Work for Complicated Families

Ancestor work is often presented as simple: build an altar, make offerings, honor those who came before you, and ask for their guidance. But what happens when your family history is complicated? What if you are adopted, estranged from your family, know little about your ancestry, or have ancestors whose actions and beliefs you do not wish to honor? In this workshop, we will explore a more complex approach to ancestor work that recognizes that sharing blood does not automatically create a spiritual obligation. Through discussion and practical exercises, participants will explore different types of ancestors, establish healthy boundaries, and develop a personal framework for deciding who they wish to honor, learn from, release, or leave outside their spiritual practice. We will also explore ancestor work for those with missing family histories, complicated genealogies, and chosen families. (Adults Only)
Tarot for Understanding Astrology

In magickal communities, practitioners are often more familiar with Tarot as a system than with natal chart Astrology, which can take years of study. Joseph will show and demonstrate – and provide handouts and takeaways – how to approach your natal chart astrology through the lens of the Tarot cards. Even for experienced astrologers, using Tarot as an overlay to your chart can shed new light and insights for contemplation. We will cover Astrology Signs and Planets as they relate to the Major Arcana, and the 36 Decans as they relate to the Pip Cards. The Peace Tree Ritual

The Barisaa, also known as the Peace Tree or Prayer Tree ceremony, is an important part of the Woman Shaman Priestess training at the Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple. But it is so much more than that. First published by Sarangerel Odigon in her book Chosen by the Spirits, Sarangerel describes the ritual as follows: “This ritual brings peace and reduces violence in whatever place it is performed in. It needs to be done in as many places as possible, especially in places that were sites of deaths from war or violence. It also calls the nature spirits to bring inspiration, calm people’s hearts, and create thoughts of peace and love.” The Priestesses of the Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple would love to share our knowledge about this ritual with the Florida Pagan Gathering Festival and create a peace tree at Camp Kiwanis to bring inspiration and calm to its attendees as well as bring peace to any restless spirits that may be near this land. We'll discuss the role of the strega as healer, herbalist, midwife, and keeper of tradition, along with common household practices that have been passed down through generations. Making of a Hafla – Drummer and Dancer Communication

Workshop for drummers and dancers! This workshop will explore drummer and dancer dynamics in a community Hafla: an Egyptian party with music, dance, song, and poetry. With dance cues, rhythm cues, fun vocal calls, and popular middle eastern rhythms we will work on building a rapport that will keep the connection between the drummers and dancers to build energy and keep the party moving. Then we can work on how to slow it down to allow for slow sultry dance moves, veil or fire pots. Bring your drum, dance prop or just yourself to make a Hafla! (All Ages Welcome)
Palden Lhamo: The Wrathful Aspect of Ta***ic Buddhism

Palden Lhamo’s story is that of a fierce woman forced into marriage with an abusive demon king. Refusing to tolerate the harm inflicted upon humanity, she destroyed the king and her son who was destined to continue the evil lineage, escaping on the back of a mule. Her fierce resolve bound her to a sacred oath: to take her seat as the principal female Dharmapala—a wrathful protector of Buddhist teachings and practitioners. She is sworn to shield the world from delusion and harm, and she isn’t as sweet as people expect a Buddhist to be. Because of her terrifying, wrathful nature, practice with this supreme protector is traditionally restricted to experienced practitioners. Nyakma Alannah Brown holds this initiation and carries explicit authorization to adapt and present on these methods to Western audiences in her unique style. For this workshop, she will perform provide some background descriptions, then demonstrate a brief (approx. 5-minute) Sadhana practice of Palden Lhamo as a sacred blessing for all attendees. Your natal Sun sign position shows your default starting point; the progressed Sun shows your evolutionary and developmental journey. You can play a flute and love it! The Native American flute has been reported to be the third oldest known musical instrument in the world. Native Flutes have been used for spirit calling ceremonies, powerful prayer ceremonies, courting and love songs. I will teach a beginning workshop for those just starting or just interested in the Native American flute. The workshop will cover the basics of playing a Native American flute including scales, fi*****ng and special techniques. How to care for your flute, what to look for when buying a flute and a bit of the history will also be discussed. Whether you own a flute or not you can attend. Temple of Shadows - Dance with the Dark Goddess

Sacred Drum Flow and African Dance Workshop

It takes the human brain over 400 repetitions to learn a new skill, unless learned in the flow state. Then it only takes 7-10! The drum is a sacred tool of communication and portal into the flow state. Join us as we learn how to connect and navigate into the flow using ancient understanding and community. This will be a two-part playshop starting with technical development and collaboration. Once everyone is comfortable with will learn a West African rhythm in two parts, including history and culture. We will end with a flowing rhythm meditation designed to help us build energy as a group to attain entertainment and prayer and to get us connected and ready for the night’s ceremonies. All skill levels invited, bring your drum or any other percussion item you enjoy. Dancers always needed. Megalithic Rock Art Exploration

In Ireland's Stone Age humans began to carve rocks with spirals, zig zags and shapes. Soon the style spread through prehistoric Europe. There is much debate about what this unique style of art actually means. But, many of these carvings are found outside of passage graves suggesting a link to spirituality, death and the passage between worlds or time. You will get to pick out a 'rock' which is made out of paper clay to paint with your own Megalithic art. (All Ages Welcome)

If we have time, we will go around the circle once again, so bring a couple of things to share with us as we enjoy this expressive time together. AND if you feel like you wanted to share something, but then find that you don't, that is perfectly fine - we would love to have you with us, either way.
