Long Beach Special Education Community Advisory Committee

Long Beach Special Education Community Advisory Committee The CAC is a Parent group (not sponsored by the district) working for families of Students with IEPs or 504 plans to improve education services and outcomes.

Join the general meetings the second Wednesday of each month of the school calendar year. We support families through workshops about special education, advocacy, and available resources. CAC (Community Advisory Committee) is where parents can give input and collaborate with school district administrators on improving educational programs, fostering inclusion, information on school policy, availab

le services and receive support. Through meaningful input and collaboration from parents at all school sites and taking those concerns to administration, we can strive to create positive change and improvements every year. If you have a child with an IEP you are welcome to attend and participate in our monthly meetings.
