Cal Heights United Methodist Children's Center Playground The Center currently enrolls 150 students ages 2 to 13 in both their preschool and after-school program for school-age children. BUT, there is still much to do.

The Cal Heights United Methodist Church Children’s Center, a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been serving the Long Beach Community for 39 years and counting. The Center’s Main building has been undergoing a complete renovation and soon the children will be moving into a brand new facility. This is VERY exciting, and much gratitude is due to all those who made the renovation a reality. The Center’s main outdoor playground is rundown and in the dilapidated blacktop area, there is no shade or greenery in sight. Our children desperately need a green space to play on, a space that inspires creativity and a love of the outdoors and nature. It is up to us, the parents and the community to make this playground a reality. Please join us for fundraising events, volunteer your time or become a sponsor. The Center is a huge plus for our city. Quality Childcare for all children makes for a brighter future for EVERYONE. Let’s say goodbye to the black top and bring in some GREEN space!!!
