This fall, we’re offering a wonderful mix of hands-on, creative, academic, and movement-based classes for ages 5–18. Whether your learner loves science and nature, storytelling and theater, art, math, movement, or exploring how things work, there’s something to spark their curiosity.

Rainforests, Deserts, and Oceans, Oh My!

Get ready to become a habitat explorer! In this hands-on science class, students will travel, through their imaginations and investigations, to some of the incredible ecosystems where plants and animals thrive.

From oceans and rainforests to deserts,forests, and beyond, students will discover how weather, landscapes, plants, and animals all work together to create unique habitats.

And the adventure doesn’t stop there! Each student will bring their learning to life by designing and creating their own unique animal habitat diorama, which they’ll have the opportunity to share and celebrate at the end of the session!

The Bridge Learning Community is looking for a Community Coordinator to help care for and grow our shared community space!

This is a dynamic, people-centered role focused on fundraising, building operations, volunteer coordination, rentals, and community building. The Coordinator will help ensure that The Bridge is a welcoming, well-maintained, financially healthy space that supports all of our programs and the families who use it.

In this role, you’ll:
✨ Coordinate and lead fundraising events and communication
✨ Collaborate with the Board on fundraising ideas and strategies
✨ Oversee building rentals and rental communication
✨ Coordinate cleaning, building supplies, and ongoing maintenance
✨ Organize volunteer hours and prioritize projects
✨ Host quarterly community building & beautification gatherings
✨ Partner closely with Spark, the Resource Center, and The Village
✨ Help keep The Bridge running smoothly and sustainably

We’re looking for someone who is:
💛 Approachable and community-minded
🧠 Organized and excellent at prioritizing
🤝 Fair and thoughtful when working with volunteers
📣 A clear and confident communicator
🎯 Comfortable delegating and motivating others

What would it take to survive the journey west?

Step back in time with The Oregon Trail: A Living-History Adventure! In this immersive, hands-on class, students ages 9+ will become members of a wagon train traveling the Oregon Trail. Along the way, they’ll make important decisions about supplies, budgeting, navigation, and teamwork while facing unexpected challenges and discovering the courage, resilience, and cooperation it took to make the journey west.

From harsh weather and rugged landscapes to difficult choices and encounters with diverse cultures, this is history brought to life!

📚 Studying Oregon history this year? This class makes a wonderful hands-on supplement for students learning about the Oregon Trail—especially 4th graders exploring Oregon history!

Fridays * 1:30–2:30 PM
Ages 9+

The Bridge Learning Community is looking for an Enrichment Classes Coordinator to help guide and grow our Enrichment Clubs & Classes program.

This is a dynamic, community-centered role for someone who is organized, approachable, resourceful, and excited to help create meaningful learning opportunities for children and families.

The Enrichment Classes Coordinator will help oversee the day-to-day operations of the Resource Center, support teachers and families, coordinate communication, recruit and hire instructors, guide program offerings, support enrollment and marketing, track budgets and payroll, and help identify grant opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who:
✨ Communicates clearly and thoughtfully
✨ Is approachable, calm, and able to maintain composure
✨ Is an excellent listener and problem-solver
✨ Can juggle multiple priorities and manage time effectively
✨ Has experience with hiring or staffing
✨ Has marketing and community outreach experience
✨ Has grant writing experience or is comfortable learning
✨ Is adaptable and able to learn on the fly
✨ Enjoys working collaboratively and building community

Compensation: $25/hour
