Today the Harmony family lost another wonderful dog. Lucy came into care with her son. She had sever heart issues. I was really not sure if we could find her an adopter but we did and it was the best home ever where her every need was met and she was spoiled. Getting blessed to meet her adopter has been a blessing to our little rescue. Rest in peace little one, your heart was just too big for this world.

Meet Rock the Dawg Johnson. He was a stray picked up by Polk county. Today we placed him with a foster family that hopes to become his forever home. Saturday started off with the message we never want to get our Moo was in need of an emergency vet. I wrote back to say of course take her and they were already in route. The vet said her heart was giving out and the kindest thing was to let her rest. Moo came in from MCAS and we had the perfect foster for her hospice. We thought she might make it a few months with her vet report but she made it over 11 months. In that time our donors paid for her special kidney food and her heart meds, probiotics when her tummy got up set and for her vet visits. Thank you! Loosing Moo resulted in a lot of tears. Though I did not know her as well as her final family it broke my heart to loose her. Knowing how loved she was and great her care was means he world to me. Rest well sweet girl. Happy summer!! Daphne says I am ready for adoption!! She is about 10 months old. Found as a stray her owner did not want her back. She is fun loving, good with other dogs, loves peoples and is learning good doggie citizen skills, she is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped, flea treated and wormed! She loves water!! Welcome Quinn. She was found as a stray. I have tried to share the video from https://www.facebook.com/cassie.farm about her capture. She has been a group effort for sure. called us for help, We called Cassie Farm for help getting her caught, -Prevent a Litter -Oregon, and shared the cost of her vet care with us and now she is at Harmony New Beginnings Animal rescue resting, eating and trying to learn to trust. She is about 8 months old, and was living on the streets in Sherwood for at least three weeks. She was starving when she was trapped and is slowly gaining weight. She wants to be a snuggle bunny but is slow to trust. This baby is going to need extra time to gain confidence.
