We would like to take a moment to recognize and thank all of our incredible programming volunteers!

Because of this year’s amazing group of volunteers, our girls had the opportunity to participate in so many memorable, hands-on experiences. Volunteer-led programs included:

* Fire Safety
* Knife Safety
* Slingshots
* Crafts
* Archery
* Storytime
* Fishing
* Dessert Cookout

In addition to leading specialty programs, many volunteers also served as unit leaders, helping make camp fun and memorable through activities such as:

* SWAP making
* Unit cookouts
* Swimming
* Creek walking
* Field games
* Flag ceremonies
* Playtime at the Caboose, Fort, Gaga Ball pit, and Adventure Playground
* Songs and games
* Hiking
* Skits
* Wednesday night over night
And much more!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing kitchen crew and camp nurse. Behind the scenes, our kitchen team worked tirelessly to ensure everyone enjoyed daily snacks and healthy, nutritious lunches that kept campers and volunteers fueled for every adventure. Our camp nurse provided compassionate care, offered reassurance when it was needed most, and helped keep everyone healthy and safe throughout the week. Your dedication, kindness, and willingness to serve made an incredible difference in the camp experience.

Camp is a special place because of each and every one of you!💚

As another incredible week at camp has come to a close, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

There is no greater gift than time, and this week our volunteers gave that gift generously. They gave early mornings, late nights, countless hours, endless energy, patient hearts, helping hands, and unwavering support to make camp a place where girls could learn, laugh, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you planned, taught, cooked, cleaned, hauled supplies, led activities, solved problems behind the scenes, or simply stepped in wherever you were needed, you made a difference. Camp simply would not happen without volunteers like you.

Thank you for sharing your time, your talents, and your hearts with the Girl Scouts of Area 13. Your impact reaches far beyond this week - you’ve helped build confidence, courage, character, friendships, and unforgettable experiences for every girl who attended.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the magic behind camp. We hope to see many of you next year for another incredible week. In the meantime, have a great year!

With much gratitude,
The Planning Committee
Christine, Callie, Shelby, Riley, and Susan💚
