Hello First day of spring! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day. Just a quick update on yesterday:
We built two more beds and planted more spring veggies. Spectrum1 news reporter came out and did an interview with us. It runs every hour during the live news & you can find it on the link below or if you have direct TV. We are still looking for more volunteers to reap the benefits of the community garden and we're now accepting adults as well.

Get breaking news, local headlines, weather alerts, live streaming video and more from Spectrum News, your source for Kentucky news.

Hello everyone,
We need volunteers to help finish building the garden beds, fill with compost... etc. Friday will be a good day since we will be having another TV station doing interviews around 1 p.m. we need help between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. please comment if you can volunteer your time and don't mind being filmed/ photographed. Also, please share with your friends and family. We're still looking for more teens to benefit from the garden.

Hello Free Seed Project Friends,
We are excited to share an update with you on the status of the spring 2021 seed packs.

We reached our fundraiser to be able to send seed packs to 10,000 people this year! We hope to provide seeds to even more people with each year to come! Thank you to everyone who shared the campaign with their friends and family.

We currently have packs ready to send to 7,700 people. We have sent an email at approx. 6:00 PM EST on March 9th to each person who is on the list to receive a pack.
The email was sent from [email protected]. If you have not received a confirmation email and have signed up, please check your spam. If you have not received a confirmation email then you are not currently on the list to receive a pack.
We apologize for not updating sooner with a shipping date. We have been waiting for approval from the post office on our nonprofit mailing rate and we expected the approval much sooner. We expect to ship mid to late March and are certain that we will ship all 10,000 within March. USPS shipping generally takes 3-10 days to receive.
We will email each person with a confirmation on the date the seeds are shipped.

Free Seed Project was listed on numerous freebie and coupon websites without our knowledge and our website was flooded with requests. We received over 20,000 requests in just 3 days and we are able to send only 10,000 seed packs this year. We wish that we could provide seeds to every person who requests, but we are not able to! Because of this we are not sending packs to those who found us through the coupon websites. We have sent an email to the people who requested a pack from the freebie sites that confirms that we will not be able to send a pack.

If you have signed up for a pack and did not receive an email (and did not find us through the freebie sites), please email [email protected] to confirm whether or not you are on the list. You must email us. We will not respond to comments here on Facebook, except to say to please email us.

For those that are not on the list, we still have about 2,000 packs available to sign up for.

Health and Happiness to you!
