Chartered in 1946, the Shelbyville Kiwanis Club is a part of Kiwanis International. Membership offers an opportunity for personal involvement in the leadership andi mprovement of the community, the nation and the world. Kiwanis is committed to serving the children of the world. The principal core of the Kiwanis mission is the belief that the most effective way to ehance a community is to enhance

its children. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream and succeed, great things will happen.
