We all gotta eat, and we all deserve ways to fill our plates a little easier. 🥑🥦🍎🌽🫐🥕

Sonya McDaniel (Pottawatomie County OSU Extension), Emily Heath (Our Community Market of Pottawatomie County), and Lindsay Goodson (Pogo) of our Nutrition and Food Access Coalition repped Pottawatomie County at Hunger Free Oklahoma’s Hungry for Action Conference, swapping ideas with food access leaders from across the state.

Along with celebrating 10 years of Hunger Free Oklahoma, we came home with big takeaways on how transportation shapes food access and what's next for rural grocery stores. We also got a good reminder that when it comes to keeping our neighbors fed, nobody speaks up for Pott County like Pott County.

Some of the Pogo crew and our partners spent the day at the Center for Organizational Health’s RECON26 conference. The whole day was about how good leadership multiplies, and we heard it from the best, including former Disney sales leader Simon T. Bailey and Hall of Fame basketball coach Sherri Coale.

Tomorrow at noon, we're embracing our inner mall walker and hitting the halls for a lunchtime stroll at Shawnee Mall. Tracksuits, f***y packs, and bright white sneakers are not required, but highly encouraged.

Free and open to everyone! We'll meet in front of Dunham's Sports and have you back to your day in no time.
