The CRRF is excited to share that we’ve purchased 8 infant CPR mannequins, 8 adult CPR mannequins, and 8 AED trainers! We will also be adding 2 female CPR mannequins! 🙌

We’re thrilled to partner with Hermitage Fire - Rescue, who will provide the low cost, life saving trainings like Infant, Child, Adult CPR & AED Certification Class, while the CRRF helps make these life saving courses more accessible and affordable for our entire community! Captain Case Clark who has an incredible amount of experience will lead these trainings, with the assistance of other local firefighters.

We’ve come together to equip more people with the skills and confidence to save a life when seconds count.

Because to us, saving lives in Chelsea’s memory means giving others the chance to save lives, too. 🤍

This life savings training will be on Thursday, Nov. 12th from 6pm - 8pm at Linden Point (3050 Prosperity Place). Running the CRRF isn’t always serious business. Sometimes we get to do things we have absolutely no business doing 😝… like operating the crane on a massive wrecker and using the Jaws of Life on a salvaged car 9 years ago at our first training.

Who let us do this?! 😂🚒

P.S. the Jaws of Life is way heavier than you think it is. An experience that gave us even more appreciation for our first responders! 🩵🖤

It’s bittersweet to look back and realize that nearly a year to the date after we lost Chelsea, the CRRF held its first major training for Mercer County first responders.

That weekend, we were able to fully fund a training that equipped 80 firefighters from all over Mercer Co. as well as our neighbors in Hubbard with skills that could one day save a life. The training was on Heavy Equipment vs. Car Extrication. First responders trained on semi-truck and bus accidents involving cars.

Chelsea’s life was tragically short, but the impact of her life continues to grow.

What began with unimaginable loss became a mission: to save lives in Chelsea’s memory. And nine years ago, that mission took a major step forward.

Ten years later, we’re still here. Still remembering her. Still actively investing in our first responders and our community. Still training people to be ready when someone’s worst moment becomes their call.

We find significant meaning in knowing that her memory continues to help protect and save others. Thank you for being here and being a part of our journey. 🩵🖤🚒

Earlier this week, we partnered with our friends at Hermitage Fire - Rescue to host an Infant, Child & Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification Course for members of our community.

We are so grateful for the expertise, time, and dedication of our instructors who made this training possible. A special thank you to Captain Case Clark for leading and instructing the course, and to Chief Mike Wadlow, and Firefighters John Daniels and Corry Fenton for assisting.

Because of this training, more than 20 community members are now certified to provide CPR and First Aid in an emergency. That means more trained hands, more prepared hearts, and potentially more lives saved when seconds matter most.

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated and to our friends at Hermitage Fire Rescue for helping us make this opportunity possible. 🩵🖤
