🌍💜 WORLD POLIO DAY | OCTOBER 24 💜🌍

Together, we can make polio history!

For decades, Rotary members, public health advocates, and global partners have worked tirelessly toward a world free from polio. 🌎

Thanks to these efforts, polio cases worldwide have been reduced by more than 99.9%! But we’re not finished yet.

When we eradicate polio, it will become only the second human disease ever eradicated worldwide, after smallpox. What an incredible legacy to leave for future generations! 💜

✨ How can YOU help end polio?

🙌 Donate Your Time: Get involved in local and global efforts to raise awareness and support immunization.

💜 Donate Your Funds: Help fund vaccinations and surveillance efforts. Eligible donations to Rotary’s polio eradication efforts are matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation, tripling their impact.

📣 Donate Your Voice: Share the message, spread awareness, and encourage others to join the fight.

The Rotary Club of Washington Township stands alongside Rotarians around the world in the mission to End Polio Now. Every action matters, and together, we can help protect children everywhere from this preventable disease.

🌍 One world. One goal. A future free of polio.

💙🇺🇸 THIS IS WHAT COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE! 🌿✨

Look at the difference! 🙌 The Veterans Memorial at PFC Angelo Giacobbe Memorial Park has been given a beautiful refresh, and we couldn’t be prouder of what happens when businesses and community organizations come together to give back!

As part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS® Giving Club’s 31st Annual Community Service Day, the Rotary Club of Washington Twp. was proud to join our longtime partners in beautifying this special space and honoring our veterans.

A HUGE thank-you to Luke Stanch of Stanch's Property Services for the outstanding work restoring the pavement around the memorial, and to JR Landscaping & Blossoms Farm & Garden Center for donating mums to brighten the grounds! 🌼

Many thanks to Phyllis Palo for leading this effort and we’re grateful to every volunteer, business, and partner who contributed their time, talent, and resources to make this project a success.

❤️ When we work together, we can make a lasting difference in the community we call home.

That’s the power of partnership. That’s Rotary in action! 💙
