🌟 June is Rotary Fellowship Month! 🌟

As we celebrate the final month of the Rotary year, we’re reflecting on the impact we’ve made together, the lives we’ve touched, and the friendships we’ve built through service.

💙 Father’s Day is right around the corner, and we want to take a moment to honor the incredible fathers, father figures, and men in our Rotary family who lead with compassion, integrity, and service.

👇 We’d love to hear from you!
Nominate a father, grandfather, mentor, or Rotarian who has made a difference in your life or community. Share their name, photo, and a few words about why they deserve recognition. Throughout the month, we’ll feature some of these amazing men on our page!

🤝 June is also Rotary Fellowship Month, a time to celebrate the friendships, connections, and shared passions that bring Rotarians together around the world. Fellowship is at the heart of Rotary and reminds us that meaningful service begins with meaningful relationships.

🌎 This month, Rotarians from around the globe will gather at the Rotary International Convention 2026 in Taipei to celebrate fellowship, service, and the incredible impact Rotary clubs are making in communities worldwide. The convention is a powerful reminder that while we serve locally, we are connected globally.

📸 Throughout June, we’ll also be highlighting some of the meaningful projects, partnerships, and community initiatives our club has supported this year.

Thank you for being part of our Rotary family. Whether you’re serving, volunteering, mentoring, or simply supporting our mission, you help make our community stronger.

✨ Here’s to a month of fellowship, gratitude, and celebrating the people who make Rotary special!

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for the courage, dedication, and selflessness of our veterans, active-duty servicemen and women, and military families who continue to protect our freedoms each day. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with loved ones this holiday, let us also reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything for our nation. ❤️🤍💙

From all of us at Washington Township Rotary Club, thank you for your service and sacrifice. 👏

A huge thank you to Rich N. from Pops Custom Cars for joining us as a recent guest speaker at the Washington Township Rotary Club! 🚗✨

Rich shared the incredible work he does through Pops Custom Cars — building amazing custom vehicles and bringing smiles to children by visiting hospitals alongside his mascot, Kenny Kangaroo. His dedication to supporting children and families impacted by childhood cancer is truly inspiring. 💛

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn more about his mission and the positive impact he continues to make in our community and beyond. Thank you for using your talents, creativity, and heart to bring joy and hope to so many children.

Please take a moment to support and follow Pops Custom Cars and learn more about the wonderful work they are doing for kids and families:

💙 It’s Always Cool to Be Kind! 💙

Members of the Washington Township Rotary Club visited our three middle schools to recognize the winners and participants of the annual Cool to Be Kind Essay Contest! ✨

This voluntary contest invited students in grades 6–8 to write essays about why it’s cool to be kind, and we were thrilled to have over 70 students participate this year!

🏆 Congratulations to our student winners:

📍 Bunker Hill Middle School
Isabella Alvarez
Chloe Koehler
Ada Marano

📍 Chestnut Ridge Middle School
Ryan Cherry
Olivia Rohanna
Kara Jones

📍 Orchard Valley Middle School
Elliana Sutton
Caylee Rossner
Ada Math

The Washington Township Rotary Club proudly hosts the “Cool to Be Kind” Essay Contest in partnership with our local middle school FutureAct Clubs.

This heartwarming initiative was introduced to our club through Past District Governor Tom Kozempel, whose 2024 theme, Kindness in Action, inspired us to align with Ocean City’s original program and bring this meaningful message to our own community.

A very special thank you goes to our incredible Rotary Youth Director, Tiffany Orihel, for leading the coordination efforts with passion, dedication, and care. Tiffany continues to do an amazing job empowering and inspiring our youth throughout the year. 💫

We also extend our gratitude to the teachers, principals, FutureAct advisors, families, and Rotary members who helped make this program such a success.

The essays shared by students from Bunker Hill, Chestnut Ridge, and Orchard Valley Middle Schools reminded us all that kindness truly has the power to make a difference in our schools, communities, and everyday lives.

🌟 We are proud to support student voices and celebrate the power of kindness in action! 🌟
