What a way to wrap up the school year! ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped make Seward Elementaryโ€™s indoor Field Day such a success. A cold, rainy last day of school could have easily felt soggy around the edges, but thanks to our amazing volunteers, staff, and students, the school was full of energy, laughter, teamwork, and some very serious tug-of-war determination.

Field Day takes a lot of helping hands, and we are so grateful for the parents and community members who showed up to cheer kids on, run activities, keep things moving, and help make the day feel special.

Congratulations to all of our Seward students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers on another school year in the books. You made it through, and you made it meaningful. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ† Semester 2 Lunch Volunteer Champions! ๐Ÿ†

As we wrap up the school year, we had to celebrate a very important victory: our top middle school lunch volunteers for Semester 2!

This year ended in a tie, with Kylie Grimes and Mike Lunardi both earning the title. Pictured here with their very official trophies and a crew of students helping celebrate their lunchtime legends. ๐ŸŽ‰

Middle school lunch may not always come with a red carpet, but showing up for students in these everyday moments matters. Kylie and Mike have brought consistency, care, humor, and community spirit to our lunch space, and we are so grateful.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who have given their time this year. Whether you came once, came every week, helped with lunch, events, activities, field trips, or behind-the-scenes support, you helped create the kind of school community where kids feel seen, supported, and surrounded by caring adults.

That is prevention in action. ๐Ÿ’›

Congratulations, Kylie and Mike! Your trophies are well-earned. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

Congratulations to the Seward High School Class of 2026! ๐ŸŽ“

Tonight, we celebrate you: your hard work, your growth, your humor, your resilience, your friendships, your big questions, your quiet wins, your loud victories, and all the small steps that carried you to this moment.

Graduation is about diplomas, tassels, and walking across the stage, but it is also about everything it took to get there: the growing, learning, stumbling, trying again, and becoming who you are.

You have been shaped by families, teachers, coaches, mentors, neighbors, employers, volunteers, and this whole wild, wonderful Seward community that has watched you grow up and cheered you forward.

At Youth360, we believe young people thrive when they are surrounded by connection, encouragement, meaningful opportunities, and adults who believe in them. Tonight is a beautiful reminder of what that looks like.

Class of 2026, we are proud of you. Wherever you go next, you carry a piece of this community with you, and we will be cheering for you from here.

Congratulations, graduates! ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽ“

Teacher Appreciation Week has us thinking about what really matters. ๐Ÿ’™

Last nightโ€™s Seward Elementary Talent Show was such a beautiful reminder.

Yes, there were songs, dances, jokes, costumes, instruments, nerves, bravery, and big proud smiles. But underneath all of that was something even more important: kids feeling safe enough to be seen.

That does not happen by accident.

It happens because teachers and school staff spend all year building trust, encouraging confidence, noticing strengths, cheering on effort, and helping kids believe that their voice, their creativity, and their courage matter.

Events like the talent show may look like one fun evening on the calendar, but they are really the harvest of a whole school year of care. Every high five in the hallway, every patient redirection, every kind word, every extra minute spent helping a student try again, every โ€œyou can do thisโ€ adds up.

To the teachers and staff at Seward Elementary: thank you for creating a school community where kids can grow, take risks, shine, and feel celebrated for exactly who they are.

This is prevention. This is connection. This is what it looks like when a community helps kids thrive. ๐ŸŒฑ

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for you.

Huge congratulations to our Youth360 partner Hive Dance Studio on an amazing community dance recital! ๐Ÿชฉโœจ

The house was packed, the dancers were fantastic, and it was such a joy to see so many families and community members come out to support the arts in Seward.

This recital was extra special because, for the first time, it also included dancers from Seward Yogaโ€™s tap classes, with both an adult tap class and a kids tap class joining the performance!

A big thank you to Hive Dance Studio, Seward Yoga, the instructors, families, volunteers, and all of the dancers who shared their hard work, courage, creativity, and sparkle with the community. What a beautiful reminder that the arts help our kids build confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. ๐Ÿ’›

โ˜€๏ธ Field Day is almost here, and we need 20+ parent/guardian volunteers to make it happen for our kids! โ˜€๏ธ

On May 21, 2026, Seward Elementary will celebrate its annual Field Day on the last day of school and weโ€™d love some extra helping hands to make this high-energy, memory-making day run smoothly.

We are looking for 8-10 volunteers per shift, plus help with lunch setup and serving:

๐Ÿƒ AM shift: 8:30-11:45 (with K-2nd)
๐ŸŽˆ PM shift: 11:00-2:30 (with 3rd-5th)
๐ŸŒญ Lunch setup/serving shift: 10:30-11:45

It takes 20+ volunteers to pull off a day like this, and we would be so grateful for your help in sending our kids into summer with a day full of fun, energy, and great memories.

If youโ€™d like to volunteer, please email [email protected] with your contact information and which shift or shifts youโ€™d be available for.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for Navigating Together: Screens, Social Media, and Youth Mental Health. We served over 100 plates of spaghetti, filled the room with families, kids, community partners, and caring adults, and started an important conversation about how we support young people in todayโ€™s digital world.

Special thanks to Seward Football for showing up in such a big way with dinner support and screen-free childcare. Seeing our high school athletes playing games with younger kids was one of the best parts of the night.

Thank you also to GCI Cares for helping sponsor this event, and to all of the wonderful community resources who showed up with information, care, and support for Seward families.

This conversation does not end here. It is just the beginning. Thank you, Seward, for showing up for kids and families. ๐ŸŒŠ

Only 2 days away! Join us for Navigating Together: Screens, Social Media, and Youth Mental Health.

Weโ€™ll watch Screenagers: Next Chapter together, then have a community conversation about how families, schools, and caring adults can better support youth mental health in a digital world.

Teens are welcome and encouraged to attend. Their voices matter in this conversation, and the documentary is a great starting point for families to talk together.

Come for all or part of the evening. Dinner and childcare provided.
