✨ Behind the scenes at May May’s Homes Inc., so much life-changing work is happening every single week — and it’s all possible because of YOUR generosity through CarePortal and our thrift store ministry.

This week alone, we’ve been able to:
👶 Deliver an infant changing table and foam floor squares for a child with special needs.
🚌 Provide a bus ticket for an aged-out foster youth to reunite with family in another state.
👕 Clothe four children with dignity — either through home deliveries or a shopping experience at Restored Thrift Store.
🤝 Partner with local churches and organizations to gather baby essentials, ensuring a foster placement could be preserved.
🛏️ Work toward providing bunk beds so siblings can stay together in a safe home.

Every request met is more than just “stuff” — it’s hope, dignity, and stability for kids and families who need it most. 💜

Thank you to everyone who donates, shops, prays, and serves alongside us. You are helping write stories of restoration one need at a time.

Big News! 🛏️❤️
May May’s Homes Inc. received a $6,000 grant from The Home Depot Foundation to help support children in our local foster care system!

Thanks to this generous grant — along with additional funds from the Men’s Ministry of First Baptist Church Wewoka — 50 sets of bunk beds were built for the FBC CarePortal ministry. These beds will go directly to children and youth in foster care, giving them a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

We’re incredibly thankful to The Home Depot Foundation for this impactful grant and to their amazing volunteers for stepping up to serve. Special thanks to Jonathan Cox (CarePortal Regional Director) and the hardworking men, women, and families of FBC Wewoka for their time and dedication.

We also want to recognize May May’s Homes Inc. board members Pam Robinson and Ayani Tebe for their continued support and leadership.

This is how DHS, CarePortal and community works together.

Friday afternoon The Department of Human Services (DHS) identified a family in need and posted a request for food assistance on the CarePortal platform.

Jalyn Harley from May May’s Homes Inc. saw the request through CarePortal and took immediate action.

Jalyn contacted Pam Fletcher of the Fletcher Family Foundation, who was ready to help

Pam placed a pickup order at Walmart, ensuring that the necessary supplies were ready quickly.

By 7:00 PM, Jalyn was able to pick up the food and deliver it to the family in need, meeting their urgent requirements efficiently.

This chain of events highlights the effectiveness of community resources working together. Each entity played a crucial role.

A big thank you to all involved for their compassionate and efficient efforts! This is a prime example of how community partnerships can make a significant difference in people's lives.
