Located in Highlands County, FL, it serves all veterans in the county, and membership is open to any veteran or veteran-related organization in the county.

Good Morning,
The Monthly Meeting of The Veterans Council of Highlands County will be held today, Tuesday October 20th 2026, and begins @ 7:00pm (open discussion and social hour begins @ 6:00pm).
We will be discussing the Proposed Amendments from August's meeting, Veterans Day Parade Planning and car show for 2026, Awards Luncheon, and Officer Elections.

We just received notice that the 823D Red Horse Squadron needs to postpone MWR Day due an extension of orders and unforeseen circumstances. We will be rescheduling the MWR Day Meet and Greet soon! Thank you.

The Monthly Meeting (rescheduled from 8/18/2026) of The Veterans Council of Highlands County will be held today, Tuesday August 25th, 2026, and begins @ 7:00pm (open discussion and social hour begins @ 6:00pm).

We will be discussing the Veterans Food Pantry, the 2026 Calendar year events, and We are very excited to roll out the NEW Veterans Council website www.vetscouncil.org tonight. Thank you to all organizations present and we look forward to seeing you this evening.
