NU-HOPE Thrift Stores Shop antiques, vintage finds & gently used treasures at our Sebring and Lake Placid Thrift Stores. Your purchases help provide services to local seniors.

To provide financial support for our mission, NU-HOPE operates two thrift stores, the NU-HOPE Thrift Store in Sebring and the NU-HOPE Cottage Thrift Store in Lake Placid. Items sold at these thrift stores are contributed by local business owners and residents. Dedicated volunteers assist the management in the daily operations of the store and are vital to their success. Store Locations

Proceeds:

Proceeds from the thrift stores are used to match grant dollars received by our agency and to increase the number of people who are able to receive our services. This funding is essential. Without it, our agency would be unable to provide our services to those in need. You, too, can support the independence and well-being of seniors and caregivers by donating and shopping at our stores! Individuals who wish to support elder services are encouraged to donate clean and usable items to the stores. Should you be unable to bring items in, we may be able to pick them up. You may also assist our efforts by volunteering at one of our thrift stores.

Sebring, we are so appreciative of your generosity at our thrift stores but we have several employees and volunteers with vacations over the next two weeks so we are suspending in kind donations until July 15 to help us process current donations at the Sebring location.

In an emergency you can call the store at 863-314-4441 to arrange a pick up over the two weeks and we will schedule someone to come out or please hold your donations for two weeks and we will happily be available again on Wednesday, July 15.

Thank you for helping us with this temporary stop so we can serve more seniors in need in the long run.

It will take all of us, working together, to meet the needs of our community over the NEXT 50 years. Join us!

We’re excited to share some big news! 🎉

NU-HOPE Elder Care Services has been selected as a beneficiary of the Runs for Food partnership between the Tampa Bay Rays and The Mosaic Company!

Through this incredible initiative, every run scored by the Rays this season helps support local organizations working to fight hunger and serve seniors across our community. We’re honored to be part of a program that turns on field success into real world impact.
