HSDC Continuing Education Program

My name is Trista Smith and I am an RID CMP sponsor through the Hearing, Speech & Deaf Center. I have been looking for ways to promote Community Educational Events that are outside of the standard scope of RID sponsored events. There is so much rich knowledge available though our museums, colleges, medical centers, and community service organizations. My goal is to promote events that support teac

hing in cultural knowledge, minority/marginalized populations, medical, legal, and all specialized areas. While I will do my best to promote local events around Washington State (and possibly Idaho and Oregon for those that live near the boarders), please feel free to notify me of anything you think sounds great and should be an opportunity to earn CEUS. Each event promoted will have a PINRA form already provided for you to fill out and earn CEUs for attending the event. Some events will even have an Independent Study opportunity to further learning and greater CEUS. I am also here if you need CEUs through Independent Study, Academic Coursework, PINRA or would like to have your event become RID sponsored. I look forward to helping you on your CEU journey, wherever you hope that may take you!
