Tomorrow, June 23, we invite you to look for small ways to show up for your neighbors:
✨ Offer a warm hello to someone you regularly pass by.
✨ Pick up litter in a shared community space.
✨ Share a favorite treat with a neighbor.

Looking for a way to participate at Aurora Commons?

🕔 TogetherTuesday connection time: 5–7 p.m.

Stop by to connect with staff and neighbors. If you'd like to extend a little extra kindness, consider bringing new underwear or boxer briefs for our neighbors.

Small acts can create big ripples. We'd love to see you and celebrate the power of collective generosity together.

Do you believe small acts of hospitality
make a difference?

Do you want to learn more about how we practice hospitality and build community with our neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness?

We're currently seeking volunteers to support daytime drop-in programming, and we'd love to hear from you!

You might be a great fit if you:
🕒 Are available once a week between 9:30 AM –
1:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
🤝 Enjoy hospitality, service, and building meaningful relationships
💚 Can listen with compassion, remain open to feedback, and maintain healthy boundaries
😄 Appreciate a good sense of humor
☕ + 🐾 Appreciate the power of a warm beverage and an animal companion

On Saturday, May 2, neighbors across Seattle are taking a moment to say hi, share a laugh, or do something kind - no big plans, no pressure. Just showing up for each other.

We’d love to see you at the Commons Saturday, 5/2, from 10 AM–12 PM for coffee, donuts, and a small supply drive for our neighbors. We’ve had to scale back some of our food and program supplies recently, so every bit helps.

If you’re able, consider bringing:
• New men’s boxer briefs (M, L, XL)
• Women’s underwear (bikini or boxer-style, all sizes)
• Tampons or pads
• Shelf-stable snacks (Cup-O-Noodles, instant oatmeal, protein bars)

Come by, grab a cup of coffee, and connect with neighbors. We’d love to have you. ❤️
