My heart is full of gratitude today.
Thank you to everyone who joined Rotary and Scranton Tomorrow at the Gino Merli Veterans Center. Planting flowers and helping make an already beautiful place even more beautiful was something truly special.
Most importantly, it was an opportunity to honor and spend time with the men and women who have served our nation. Thank you to every volunteer who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped make a difference. Days like this are a reminder of the good that happens when people come together in service to others.

🌞 Looking for a great way to spend a beautiful afternoon?

Join us today at 2:00 PM at the Gino Merli Veterans Center as community members come together with veterans and residents to plant flowers, vegetables, and a little extra joy.

Whether you come alone, bring the kids, the grandkids, or a few friends, everyone is welcome. No Rotary membership required—just a willingness to lend a hand and spend time with some truly remarkable men and women who have served our nation.

Let's celebrate community, gratitude, and the people who helped make our freedoms possible.

What a great day for service and community! The weather held out as members of the Scranton Rotary Club joined Scranton Tomorrow for another successful flower planting and beautification project in downtown Scranton.
We are proud to support the incredible work being done to make our city more beautiful, welcoming, and vibrant for everyone.
A special thank you to Scranton Tomorrow, and especially Steve, for always inviting Rotary to be part of these meaningful projects. Partnerships like these demonstrate what can be accomplished when organizations come together with a shared commitment to improving our community.

Join us tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. as the Scranton Rotary Club partners with Scranton Tomorrow for a flower planting and beautification project in Downtown Scranton.

We will meet in Downtown Scranton Square, across from Northern Light Espresso Bar. The project will take approximately one hour and is another opportunity to make a positive impact while helping keep our downtown beautiful.

Didn't sign up? No problem. Family members, friends, neighbors, and children are all welcome to join us.

🌱 Scranton Rotarians — we hope you’ll join us for an incredible day of community service, gratitude, and fellowship on Tuesday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM at the Gino Merli Veterans Center as part of Scranton Tomorrow’s City Pride initiative.

Together, we will be planting flowers and vegetables alongside the residents and veterans while continuing to beautify and strengthen our community.

Steve from Scranton Tomorrow shared that several Scranton Rotarians have already volunteered, and we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate in this phenomenal event with the amazing veterans of the Gino Merli Veterans Center.

If you plan on attending, please let me know so we can help coordinate our volunteers and continue showing what “Service Above Self” truly means.

This special event becomes even more exciting as we proudly celebrate one of our very own Scranton Rotary members, Justin, who will be performing! We are incredibly proud to support fellow Rotarians who continue to share their talents and make our community stronger through the arts.

Instead, we’ll be getting together for our Rotary Social on Wednesday evening. If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can get an accurate headcount.

We spend so much time serving our community, and Wednesday is about taking time to relax, laugh, and enjoy great fellowship together.
