New to NEPA Stands Up? Been a while since you’ve taken action with us? Mix, mingle, and organize with us at this month’s Troublemakers Cafe!

Join us ✨ tomorrow ✨ for a casual community building space to plug into our working groups and campaigns.

We’ll be gaming, crafting, snacking, and chatting at The Spare Oom in Scranton from 3pm-5pm. We welcome folks to bring their favorite cozy activities and goodies for the group to share!

At NEPA Stands Up we're working to build a political home for poor and working folks across race, place, and generation who are fed up with billionaires and bought politicians fixing the system in their favor while the rest of us struggle to get by. We know that we the people have the power and it's up to us to come together to demand better as a community. Whether that means taking on data centers that rise our utility rates and waste our precious resources, pressuring our elected officials to fight for our constitutional rights and community safety by ending funding and collaboration with ICE, or working with allies to affirm the right of LGBTQIA+ youth to get a safe and equal education, we know that it's up to us to save us.

Good morning, NEPA Community!

We have another 💛Mutual Aid Request💛 that we would love some help with. Our community member, Heather/Atreyu Daube, is near eviction from their place of residence. They have been able to keep their head above water but with recent events, they are near drowning.

Heather has been incredibly involved with helping the community throughNEPA Stands Up, PA Stands Up, and Scranton Solidarity Project, and then some. Let's show them some love back by helping get rent covered.

They have already gone through proper channels to see about housing funds but no dice. If you can think of additional resources that might be helpful during this time, please drop them in the comments.
