There is a microfilm reader that is available to view and print images from the many reels of historical documentation, including wills, deeds, marriages, and other court records, along with microfilm of the Citizen-Times issues from 1911 through 2001. There are also publications for sale. The Museum & Library is open Tuesday and Thursday, 11:00 to 3:00pm and, at other times, by appointment. We invite you to take a look at our museum which is located in the Dr. Pellie G. Graves House that was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. On June 15, 2026, the Allen County Historical Society convened for its monthly meeting, which attracted a full house. Justin Spears, an accomplished history and social sciences educator from East Warren High School in Bowling Green, delivered a compelling presentation on Kentucky's Revolutionary frontier. The discussion encompassed a broad historical context, spanning from pre-1600 to the Revolutionary War and including pivotal events such as the Beaver Wars. We express our deepest gratitude to Justin for his remarkable presentation.
