We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dez Brandt for being an inspiring speaker at Panhandle BPW!

A lifelong Panhandle resident, dedicated public health professional, and passionate advocate for family and community well-being, Dez brought both authenticity and insight to her presentation, Balancing Work & Caring for Others. As the Maternal and Child Health Program Manager at Panhandle Public Health District, she leads a team of 13 women while also balancing the important roles of motherhood, caregiving, and career.

Dez shared her personal journey with honesty and warmth, offering practical strategies for navigating the complex demands of professional life, family caregiving, and self-care. Her message reminded us of the importance of setting boundaries, leaning on support systems, and prioritizing what matters most.

We are grateful for the meaningful conversation she sparked—one centered on connection, growth, and resilience within our families and ourselves.

Thank you, Dez, for empowering and encouraging us all!

Equal Pay Day reminds us that progress is possible when we stand together.
BPW shines a light on the persistent wage gap and the work still ahead to ensure every woman is paid what she’s earned.
Let’s close the gap, lift each other up, and keep pushing for equity.
Bring a friend and join us Wednesday night at Backaracks!

Plan for Business Success: The Framework for Goals That Work

Success on your terms requires more than just setting goals—it requires knowing which goals will actually move you forward.

Whether you're growing a small business, stepping into entrepreneurship, or contributing to an organization in a bigger way, you need a framework that creates clarity, builds confidence, and makes your ambitions measurable.

In this interactive session, discover the three foundational questions that top-performing businesses answer before setting any financial, strategic, or operational goals. These questions create shared vision, eliminate overwhelm, and turn your strategy into daily decisions you can actually execute.

You'll leave knowing how to set goals that honor your worth, create sustainable balance, and position you to lead with confidence.
