Your willingness to pour into the next generation of moms, share how MomCo has impacted your lives, and remind us why this community matters is such a gift. Sara’s Blind Date with a Book swap was such a fun addition to our morning! We hope everyone enjoys their mystery read and finds a new favorite between the pages. 📖✨

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. 💗

At Scotts Bluff MomCo, we want every mom to know that we are with you in the joyful seasons and the tough ones. We see you, we remember your babies, and there is space here for every part of your motherhood story.

At our last meeting, we honored every child represented in our Scotts Bluff MomCo community with a butterfly for each child, whether here with us or already in heaven. 🦋 Each butterfly represents a life deeply loved and forever part of a family.

If you weren’t able to participate at our last meeting, we will have our butterfly board available again at our October 20 meeting. We would love for you to add your butterflies and honor your babies with us. 🤍

What a JAM-PACKED MomCo morning! 💛 We were so happy to see so many familiar faces and especially so many new moms joining us!

We started with a delicious brunch from Madalyn’s group, got to know new mom friends with a little Mom Speed Dating, took time to honor pregnancy and infant loss, and learned all about baby-led weaning from Lynndee Jacobson with ESU 13. 🤍

A big thank you to Lynndee for sharing her expertise and giving us practical tips to take home!

And the fun doesn’t stop here… 🎃

MomCo is back this Tuesday!✨

Grab your coffee, scrunchie, and come hang with us! 📼💛 We’re meeting at Monument Bible Church at 9:00 AM, with KidsCo drop-off starting at 8:45 AM.

📚 This week: We’ll hear from a speaker from ESU 13 about education and supporting our children’s feeding goals. When to start solids, what foods to try first, and baby led weaning.

💬 And we’re bringing back Mom Speed Dating! A fun, low-pressure way to meet some new mom friends and make those “we should totally hang out!” connections happen. 😉

Scotts Bluff MomCo is a Christian ministry serving moms with preschool-aged children, creating a place for community, encouragement, and good company through all the little years.

Never been to MomCo before? Consider this your official invitation! You don’t need to know anyone, and you definitely don’t have to have it all together. Come as you are, and we’ll save you a seat. 🫶

🌱 The garden makeover has officially begun! 🌱

We’re getting our hands dirty and giving our garden plot a fresh start by clearing out the old plants and making room for something new. We’re SO excited for the plans one of our very own Scotts Bluff MomCo members has in store for this space!

Our hope is that by next year, this will be a fun, beautiful, interactive spot for kids visiting the zoo and a little space that Scottsbluff MomCo members can feel proud to have poured into. 💛

And a very special shoutout to Mel, Madalyn’s husband, for tackling the GINORMOUS stump that was right in the middle of it all. 😂👏 We don’t feature the dads on our page very often, but honestly… this felt like a pretty good time to make an exception. 😉

There’s still lots of work ahead, and we’ll definitely be calling on our MomCo community for some help along the way! If you have access to rocks, native plants, or other garden goodies that could help bring this vision to life, please reach out to us. 🌿🪨

We can’t wait to watch this little garden grow into something special for our community! 💛

✨SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: LYNNDEE JACOBSON✨

We’re so excited to welcome Lynndee Jacobson, a Speech-Language Pathologist at ESU 13, to our next MomCo meeting!

Lynndee works with area school districts to support children ages birth–21 with communication needs, and as a mom herself, she brings both professional knowledge and real-life experience to the table. 🤍

She’ll be talking all things feeding development and milestones, starting solids, and baby-led weaning — perfect for moms navigating those early stages or simply wanting to feel more confident around feeding.

Come learn, ask questions, and leave with practical tools you can use at home! Grab your coffee, bring your questions, and join us for a morning of learning + Good Company. ☕️✨
