Our very own Dan Dickinson and his wife Cindy continue to make a meaningful impact in our local community.

Through their initiatives, golfers with disabilities are still able to experience the joy of being on the course, enjoying the game, and staying connected through golf.

Thank you, Dan and Cindy, for creating opportunities that make recreation more accessible and inclusive for everyone. Your efforts remind us that small acts of service can open doors and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Community service in action — one swing at a time! ⛳️💙

For people who thought their days on the golf course were over because of physical limitations, a new device coming to Gering could offer another chance to play. A couple,

Back to our regular weekly program!

During our Rotary meeting, we had the pleasure of enjoying a magnificent performance and getting a glimpse of the talented cast from Theatre West through a special preview of their play.

Oh boy — their voices, stage presence, and acting were absolutely top notch! It was amazing to witness the passion, dedication, and talent they bring to the stage.

Thank you for sharing your gifts with our community and giving us a small taste of what promises to be an incredible production. We’re excited to see more!

A special moment during the Innovation Summit as our very own Rotary member, Dan Carter was recognized for his dedicated service as Area Governor from 2022–2026.

Over the past four years, Dan has served and supported our Rotary clubs in Scottsbluff/Gering, Morrill, and Torrington, Wyoming — helping strengthen connections, encourage collaboration, and inspire service throughout our communities.

Thank you, Dan, for your leadership, commitment, and the countless hours you have invested in supporting our clubs and living out Rotary’s spirit of Service Above Self.

We are grateful for your dedication and proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Wishing you continued success as you continue making a difference in the lives of others!

Our very own International Exchange Student, Tea H., has been selected as the winner of the essay competition on the topic of “Service” — a value that is at the very heart of Rotary.

It is truly inspiring to see someone her age possess such a deep understanding of what service means and, more importantly, how she applies it in her own life.

Moments like this remind us that our future is in good hands.

We may very well be witnessing the journey of a future Rotarian.

Congratulations, Tea, on this well-deserved recognition! We are incredibly proud to be your host Rotary Club and look forward to seeing all the wonderful things you will accomplish.

As the Innovation Summit came to a close, we were blessed to hear a powerful Moment of Inspiration delivered by our very own Dan Carter, Area Governor for the Scottsbluff/Gering, Morrill, and Torrington, Wyoming Rotary Clubs.

Dan’s message was both inspiring and meaningful, reminding us of the true spirit of Rotary—service above self, making a difference in our communities, and building lifelong friendships along the way.

The closing ceremony also featured our Rotaract members and the heartfelt farewell performance by our Inbound Rotary Youth Exchange Students as they prepare to return to their home countries. Their songs and reflections were a touching reminder of the friendships, cultural understanding, and memories created through the Rotary Youth Exchange program.

As we conclude another successful Innovation Summit, we leave inspired, energized, and grateful for the opportunity to serve, lead, and connect with fellow Rotarians from across District 5440.

Rotary members, leaders, and community partners from across District 5440 were honored to be part of the proclamation signing with the Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon - recognizing Rotary’s Epic Day of Service and the impact Rotary clubs make throughout our communities.

This special event celebrated the many ways what Rotary clubs serve across Wyoming, Colorado and our great state of Nebraska and our district, including community cleanups, food drives, tree planting, Habitat for Humanity build days, youth leadership programs, Youth Exchange, and partnerships with local service organizations.

It was a meaningful reminder of Rotary’s continued commitment to “Service Above Self” and the lasting difference Rotarians make through service, fellowship, and community partnerships.
